It's ok
They're ok, not the grippiest and the magnets aren't the strongest.

This was exactly what I needed
These rubberized vise jaws were exactly what we needed to keep our painted parts from being scratched while clamped in the vise.

Magnetic Aluminum Alloy w/ Soft Rubber Vise Jaw Inserts
The over-all quality and construction is excellent. The magnets hold the inserts to the vise jaws well but not strongly. I can slide them from side to side with ease and it would be possible to knock them off if bumped too hard. They will perform their job if used with care. The fact they are made of aluminum and come with an extra set of rubber inserts makes them a good value in comparison to any plastic inserts. I'd give them 5 stars if the magnets held more firmly.

It works ok
The magnets barely hold on and easily knocked off and having to set it in place time after time. Once it clamps, it does a fair job on holding items in place.

Really well made. Extra rubber inserts are a big bonus
Extra rubber inserts are a big bonus. Great to prevent vise jaw damage to soft materials.

Buyer beware——junk!
These seemed in appearance only to be a really top notch product, which is the furthest thing to the truth. I’ve been in car restoration business for many years and had a set of the cheaper red rubber type. I guess I should have stayed with the red ones, because this new item is the biggest waste of money. I actually bought two sets from misleading photos of the product supported by false claims in the ad. I tried several times to make use of these “look nice” vice jaw pads, but the incompetent magnets with the pads not staying in place was a bit frustrating. The only good thing I can say about theses two sets of pads is they look nice and an extra set of rubber pads came with them. Unfortunately what was really needed was an extra set of larger magnets that could really keep the pads in place when used on my six inch vice head. There sure was enough metal to hold onto, but the tiny little magnets couldn’t hold onto anything metallic. I strongly suggest you hold onto your money rather than expecting too much from these “pretty useless” vice pads. Sorry not possible I can’t give it a “-0” rating since they don’t even deserve a “1”. That’s right, take it as fair warning from a long term “car guy”, you will be sorry if you make the same mistake I did——buyer beware!!!!!!

Save for better vise jaws
Rubber doesn’t last, the little magnets in the back are pointless as the lightest touch will knock these off your vise or drop the workpiece locked in it you’re better off saving up for better ones

Junk
I had high hopes for these as they were more expensive than the plastic ones. Sadly the magnets are weak, and the manufacturing is pathetic. The magnets are all set to different depths. One is so deep it's not very magnety, and one is so high it pushes the jaw away from the vice. It's like this on both pieces.Lame.Don't buy
