Ello Elsie Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Stopper

Over all, this is a thoughtfully designed and durable product, one which I enjoy using. The glass body keeps water tasting good, and virtually eliminates the potential for chemical seepage into the water (there is plastic in the cap, but it doesn't concern me much). The silicone seal is very tight and feels as if it will hold up well against use. 22 ounce capacity is, in my opinion, the perfect size. It feels high quality and is aesthetically pleasing. There is one small con to this product: if you wear lipstick or lipgloss and drink from this bottle, the makeup will transfer from the rim of the glass and get trapped in the cap when you re-cap the bottle. This can be somewhat annoying to clean out. I anticipate that if you were to use the bottle for things like teas or juices, the cap could get a little nasty in the silicone seal. Over all this is a really nice product, nice enough that after I got mine, my boyfriend decided to buy his own. :)

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. They fit perfectly on the door of my RV's refrigerator. They travel very well, and the attached caps don't get lost and seal tight, so no leaks if they happen to fall over. It's great that the caps come in different colors when using them for different liquids. i.e. milk vs. cream. I also have found the wide mouth makes them very easy to clean.

I can't say how much I love these. I have about 4 of them. I take a couple full of water to work everyday. They DO NOT leak. Someone reported mold? I've used them for years and they are spotless. I have never ever seen any mold. I put them in the dishwasher after each use and they stay squeaky clean. They are just fabulous!! My go to healthy option water botle.

I have been looking for a quality glass water bottle for a while to use at my desk at work,but did not want to spend too much money on one. Especially since I wasn't planning to carry it around to various places, being leakproof was not a particular concern. The glass bottle is thick and sturdy. The cap is rubber and creates a seal with the entire mouth of the bottle (have not tested whether it can withstand being inverted without leakage). It is perfect for my purposes. The only downside is that I personally would have preferred a screw cap/lid or one with a smaller opening (like the LifeFactory ones). However, it provides good quality for a much lower price.

I use this to take water to work and the gym. I’ve used this same brand and type for over 7 years. The one I had I broke due to dumb human error. The only possible problem you will find is after years of opening and closing, the rubber lid will get a bit looser and if you happen to turn it on its side, it may leak a tiny bit. But this is over many years of use! I still gave 5 stars for leakproof because my newer one doesn’t leak at all. Don’t let that be a reason to not purchase this product. Also, the instructions say to not put hot water in it, probably due to scalding possibilities, but I have a hot/cold water cooler, and I mix them so I’m drinking warm water at work and it’s never been a problem! I have 3 different colored ones and if there were more color choices, I would buy more because the price is so low for the lengthy use you get out of them and I love all the colors.

I use these bottles to store my homemade almond milk. They are leakproof and strudy. I like their size, perfect for my usage. And they are easy to clean.

I have 6 of these bottles and use them every day! I love that the bottle has a wide mouth to easily add ice or lemon. I like to keep the lid on while at work, but it is quickly removed to take a drink and comes attached so you don't drop it. The strap on the lid also makes a nice loop to carry around. Although the glass makes it a heavier bottle, I would trade that feature for having to drink out of plastic. Over the years that I have used these bottles, I have only broken one that was accidentally dropped over concrete. Other than that, they have survived bumps, spills, and daily use.

I love this water bottle! I bought this as an alternative to my old plastic water bottles, as even BPA-free ones still aren't necessarily devoid of other harmful toxic ingredients. I researched like glass and stainless steel water bottles quite a lot prior to this purchase, and am very happy with this bottle - very sturdy, great value, and I like that the top is silicone. Would absolutely recommend!

I just wanted a sturdy glass water bottle with no bells and whistles and that’s what this is. A great alternative to plastic bottles and water tastes so much better in glass , we forget since plastic had been used for so long . Top is sturdy , easy to put on and take off. Doesn’t leak and keeps water in. It’s a bit heavier than plastic but that’s expected , nothing special though . Easy to hand clean. I am glad I bought this one and I am thoroughly satisfied

La botella está increíble. El cristal es lo suficientemente grueso, se siente muy robusta, no es ligera para traerla contigo, sino para tenerla en tu mesa de noche u oficina. No es lisa, a los costados tiene unas líneas, que ayudan a tener muy buena sujeción. Los colores son vivos y la tapa cierra herméticamente. Tenía temor de que pudiera llegar quebrada, pero estaba perfectamente empacada. Excelente compra!

I love a wide mouth bottle because it's easy to clean, it looks great, it's really easy to press the silicone cap on and it doesn't leak even though the cap is a press-on cap, not a screw-on cap. I use a large size stainless steel straw with it. UPDATE: I broke it in less than a month. ☹ It's not really the bottle's fault but I guess that's why the price is decent. I bought replacement. It broke because I put it in a shopping bag that fell off my shoulder and made contact with cement. I have another glass bottle from the same brand (I bought a few months before this) which has a web sleeve made of silicone to protect the glass, which is nice. And it has a straw built into the lid so it's not as easy to clean as a wide-mouth bottle. I haven't broken that one yet and I also recommend it. About $5 more expensive than this one. I just will be careful with the replacement this time and make sure it is protected when stored in a bag.

Muy buena calidad y precio, presentación y etiquetado del producto. Solo la tapa no me convence mucho porque aunque cierra perfectamente (sin derrames), por lo mismo tiene un surco pronunciado adentro (de la tapa, para hacer como vacío o adherirse bien a la botella) y al estar hecha de silicón, en mi experiencia este tipo de tapas si no lo secas bien al lavar tienden a mantener humedad y generar suciedad. Ya lo había identificado al ver las fotos, comoquiera lo pedí porque me pareció muy buen relación calidad precio y así es, solo ese detalle, será cuestión de tener cuidado.
