Edit 03/08/2023: I've since ordered this magnetic mount two more times. It works so well I wanted to make sure the world knew about it by writing a review. But it had been so long since my original purchase I forgot that I had already written a review! Happy to say the mount I got two years ago still has a strong magnetic pull, and the new ones are just as good. I have tried other magnetic mounts and none of them were as strong and versatile as this one.And, wow, I just reread my old review where I said I put my magnets on the outside of my phone case. Well, that's not how I do it anymore. The magnets are on the inside of my relatively thick, plastic "rugged" case and my phone is still very secure on the mount.Original review:Wow this magnet is strong. I've been using magnet mounts for tripods and my car for years now. I was an early adopter of magnetic mounts because clamp mounts are a complete pain to use. By far this is the strongest magnet I've used for phone mounting.For these magnetic mounts I stick the magnet on the outside of my phone case. My old magnet mount for my tripod broke so I got this to replace it. It ripped my old magnet right off my case. Prior to sticking my phone on this new mount the magnet on my case wasn't showing signs of coming off, and yet the glue couldn't beat the magnetic pull of this mount.Thankfully the magnets supplied with this mount have an adhesive that is strong enough to withstand the magnetic pull of the mount. I've had no issues since putting on one of the magnets that came with this mount.Tldr; your phone isn't going to fall of this mount.

I bought this to use with my lovehandle pro strap. The magnets are SUPER strong and the quality of it is really sturdy even though it's made of plastic. Its even balanced to be able to stand my phone upright on it without having to have it connected to my tripod, for reference I'm using it on my galaxy z fold 5.

This sticks tight to the plate on the back of my phone case that I use in the car on a magnetic mount. This sticks hard to the back of my phone case no matter what direction I have it in. The fatal flaw of all the ones that grip the sides of the phone is that they mess with the buttons on the phone sides. This doesn't add it sticks hard.

Very strong magnets, I have a android phone with a magsafe case (Torras) it works very well. I've read some reviews that says it's not Magsafe compatible I have not had that that problem, works for me.

I've tried using some of the squeeze-type phone holders and they just aren't secure enough! Then it dawned on me....i have a magnet mount in my car...why not see if such a thing exists that I can mount on my tripod?? That's when I found this product! Now, I have a thin metal sticker mounted on the inside of my phone case (i have an iphone 13 with an Otterbox Defender case). The thin metal sticker came with the mount in my car. I think some people don't use cases on their phones?🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyway, having this magnetic phone mount makes it SO EASY to get the shots i need if I'm in my workshop and I need to record a few quick clips for my Instagram Reelsnor something like that. I mounted this thing onto a tripod plate so I can easily move between a couple different tripods I have. I am VERY happy with this magnetic holder. Can't believe I didn't get one sooner!

I purchased the 1st one on April 6th. I loved it. Very strong magnets! Strong back-plate. So I ordered a 2nd one on July 6th. Noticeable difference! See photos...1. The back-plate is much thinner and there's considerable flex when detaching the phone because the magnets are so strong.2. The knob at the back is smaller and just doesn't hold as tight, so after tightening, it's still easy to twist the mount.There are several other changes like design etc. but these are the main functional ones in my opinion.I added pictures of the purchase as well to show the same item and seller.Good Luck!

I have a Pixel6 Pro phone with large case that has a built in magnet. It rarely fits into a bracket-type holder of any kind because of thickness. Also the is quite heavier than most iPhones than these products are typically used for. This is my second WixGear product and it never fails to perform. This magnet holds my phone on tripod with ease. Highly recommend.

The poor ability to stay attached to the phone makes this item Mostly USELESS
