Ellaroo Woven Wrap Baby Carrier (Medium 4.6 m up to 160lbs and 5'8", Sue)

I love my Ella Roo! I got it so I could wear my toddler on my back while cleaning, but I'm looking forward to using it with my newborn here shortly. Once you get past the learning curve on how to wrap, it's very comfy. This is my first woven wrap and I previously used a moby. I was worried this wrap would be too hot, but it seems a lot less hot that the moby wrap for the summer months. My only complaint is that there is no tag to mark the middle of the wrap, but that would be very easy to add yourself and definitely not a deal breaker for the price compared to other woven wraps. I'm really glad I went with this one.

If I had to rate this based off of my wife, this would get 5 stars. If I based it off of my daughter, 1 star. Objectively, I give it 4 stars for the following reasons:1)Love the design/pattern and we get a lot of compliments on it.2)Fabric is durable, yet light weight, so when you use it, you're not sweating like crazy and burning up from having it wrapped around you.3)It allows for a lot of different ways to carry your baby.4)I'm 6ft (around 240 lbs) and my wife has a fit build at just over 5 ft. We both find it comfortable and nice to use.My daughter used to love being carried. We got this because we thought our first purchase was too small for her to be comfortable. After buying this we found that she's only really interested in being "wrapped" if she's contently tired, no whiny/moody, and wants to fall asleep.If you want to buy a wrap, I would definitely say go for this one.

I like it but there is a lot of learning curves hereCONS: It does take time to put it on (at least more than I have available with two kids underfoot).The long wrap falls to the ground in order to find center and get put on (not good outside where its dirty)I have yet to find a good breastfeeding position in it.When my baby is frustrated, it feels like an eternity to get this thing off and her out of it.PROS:breathable and lightweight for hot daysSturdy for carrying both my toddler and newborn (separately duh)good support on my back (I don't feel like a lot of carriers offer good support for those of us with bad backs)Cute colors! My husband would wear it and I still think its cute.

I've owned 2 of these ( only because I gave away my first one not expecting to have another baby! ) I have tried all the wraps on the market and back packs this is by far the best for baby and toddler, distributes weight so well you are literally hands free ! pack on your baby and grab the vaccumm you can do anything with your baby on you. I love this wrap I recommend it to ever expecting mom. you tube how to wrap it if you get confused! There are quite a few ways. The Ella Roo is also the best quality keeps baby snug and secure. I had a moby wrap once and literally felt baby was going to fall out it was so loose this is the totally opposite! You will not regret this purchase.

I'm an avid baby wearer and I have.. Too many.. Baby cariers. I may have a problem. Anyway, I've always wanted to try a woven wrap; but my wallet would not permit it. I bought this on a whim because of the price and almost instantly regretted my purchase. I read through countless bad reviews and I was convinced that I wouldn't like it. I am pleased to say it is now my favorite wrap. It's softer and more forgiving than my gauze wrap, far more supportive than my stretch wrap, has beautiful colors, and my baby adores it!

This is my first woven wrap so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I am pretty happy with it. It is more affordable than most of the other brands I looked at. I love that it is lightweight, since I live in a warm climate, but still holds my son securely. The colors are prettier in person- the stripes are three shades of green, but the weft is blue and gives the greens lovely jewel tones. I am still breaking mine in but it is getting nice and soft. I was afraid the fringe on the ends would get tangled and matted but it is still doing okay after a few washes. My only complaint is that it cannot be machine dried; I don't have a clothesline and this is a lot of fabric to deal with! Also it would be nice to get it washed and dried more quickly so I can use it again sooner. If you're wanting to try out babywearing and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a great and versatile choice.

I really love this wrap! I have a Moby too, which is nice to use inside the house, but it is sweltering on walks when it's sunny and in the 70s. The Ellaroo is made of much lighter-weight fabric and the breeze passes through it. I don't worry about the baby over-heating when I use it.

Beautiful colors and quality fabric! This is my first woven wrap and I am in love with it. So many more ways to wrap and more options for fabric than the Moby. This wrap seems like a decently lightweight fabric which is great for summer wrapping.

I was gutted when I lost my last EllaRoo wrap so getting the same type of wrap seems a good idea. It is beautifully supple right out of the package and only gets better with age. Takes a bit of practice to learn to use and find the right carry for you but worth persevering with. I do love it.

Dopo aver provato ad indossarla un paio di volte l' operazione risulta semplice e per niente macchinosa. Il peso della mia piccola non grava sulla mia schiena come invece succede con il marsupio. Fantastico poterla tenere sempre con me e avere contemporaneamente le mani libere per poter fare qualche altra cosa, soprattutto mentre lei dorme, e quando lei è nella fascia dopo un pò crolla addormentata sul mio petto, o per tenere per mano gli altri due miei figli. Molto comoda anche per poter allattare tranquillamente in modo discreto. Inoltre indossata dona un aspetto etno-chic che personalmente mi piace molto. Consegna rapida. Veramente molto soddisfatta del mio acquisto, lo consiglio a tutte le mamme!

I got this to replace my stretchy wrap that my son (4 months and 19 lbs) has outgrown. I wish I would have skipped the stretch and gone right to this one. Price was better than anywhere else I've found. My back, shoulder and hips were getting really sore carrying my boy in the stretch. Mind you once at least once a week he would be in it for 6-10 hours a day, so I did get my monies worth out of it. He now feels weightless and the problem areas are resolving themselves. LOVE this thing.Colours are nicer in person.Is decently soft for being brand new. Will break in with time.Baby loves it and gets very excited when he sees me starting to wrap it, like he did with the stretch when he fit it.Will start doing back carries in the next couple days, which I am very much looking forward to and is a HUGE benefit to the woven.

I’m disappointed... I’ve washed it twice and it still has a smell I can’t get rid of. The red dye is still coming off too... I was really looking forward to this wrap but I just don’t see myself using it. Wish I could get myMoney back.

Super fast delivery! Price point, excellent! I really like this wrap, colourful and strong! Nice and long as I am almost 6 feet tall and have had trouble finding a wrap or carrier that was long enough to tie around me. Would recommend this wrap for sure!
