Any instructions on how to connect the DAC to WiFi.
Sounds great with my Klipsch Heresy speakers but I’d sure like to know how to connect the DAC to WiFi.

Five stars- if you need the features...
This amp is a step up in build quality from the first generation of mini-watt amps , which themselves were quite nicely built- well, this is (apart from a cheap switch on the back for source selection) a fantastically well put together little unit. Sonically it's a mini-watt. A real step up from the first generation too, for the under 500 category it's a great sound, very clean and punchy if a tiny bit light on bass ultimately - these current models correct the relative darkness of the early (old design case) models sound , a bit more on the sound later..., Here, its the features that make this a five star purchase! A card reader and wi-fi make this a killer desk top near-field rig. It's ideal for an executive, built like a German tube amp and looking very very high end and smart. If you want a card reader (rare in amps and nearly ubiquitous on computers the card reader is a fantastic way to access tunes from your or a friends computer and play back on this fine little unit); or can utilize wi fi in a home office setup then this product is a home run and a downright bargain ,with clean sonics and good treble -gen 1 mini watts were dark this is even and clean/sweet. It's a great entry in to tube watts. With the exception of the other amps in this lineup , there is nothing on the market that is fully tubed (pre and power) at anything near the price -(of the entry level- amps at this models price will have none of this amps features and be solid state power with tube pre.) In fact here's nothing less expensive then the base models of this lineup, that are an all tube design on the market anywhere) Despite the affordability it's a real tube sound. Not slow or bloated like old school tubes it sounds modern while still possessing the better (despite being higher) distortion characteristics tubes bring. This is good sound- I can give the sound itself five at this price. The old design I'd say was four, so even though better tube amps definitely sound, well...better- solid state does not. And solid state (or hybrid) is all you'll find at this price elsewhere - And here I'd like to reiterate, I don't think I've ever seen anything at this price level that's even close to this nicely built except maybe Quinpu , but this is better. And sounds a bit more natural. Quin has more power but us a hybrid. Less grain. But solid state glassy. I'd go mini watt all the way if this is your budget and your speakers/setup can accommodate it. If you DON'T need the features; a mini watt without them (or the really cool model with headphone output which is actually more my speed and the one I would buy if I used headphones more often in the home) is more affordable , while the amazing sounding (five stars in the 1-2000$ class, yet around 400 or so last I checked.) larger Gemtune models make way more sense in a full size room setup for not TOO much more money: This product under review here needs sensitive speakers. I got away with PSB alpha B-1 in a desktop setup, it was loud , but 'headbangers' will either *need* to sit nearfield, run 90dB plus sensitive speakers or preferably both to get the most out of this otherwise quite clean and crisp sounding unit. In fact the only real detriment to the sound beyond the aforementioned caveats for speaker selection is the soundstage. It does not soundstage well. Otherwise it's quite quite above its class sonically. This thing is really ,really cool looking with its two piece casework and detailing (like the really cool looking metal rounded-spike feet) If you know somebody who's really into music and works at a place where they have their own office , or is really into their computer and home office- Even a nice small bedroom system , for them , I would highly recommend this.

I am very impressed with the sound quality and functionality of this amplifier. This unit has a built in DAC, SD card reader and is Wifi ready for use with your cell phone or computer. This is a terrific option for those that love the tube sound and are on a budget. I own several Gemtune products and each of them have exceeded my expectations as this one has.
