I’m endeavoring to learn to mediate, want very much to make it a daily practice. It’s ALL very new to me. I tend to carry a lot of stress in my body. I’ve always been fairly flexible but in a short span of time I lost my dog, then my mom closely followed by my husband. I believe the emotional trauma is stuck in my body and has reduced my flexibility. I no longer can sit easily in lotus style position. My hips are tight and it can be very painful to move them in certain ways. This little cushion is perfect to make sitting in the more traditional style possible without pain. I think it’s very comfortable and it makes an adorable chair pillow that actually comforts me to hold when sitting there throughout the day. I love the splash of color amongst the neutral earthy colors in the room. And I love the fill and weight of it. I don’t think I could have found a more appropriate meditation cushion for me at this stage in my life. Thank you! =)

Very nice, great quality

I recently purchased the Retrospec floor cushions for our Japanese-style table in our homeschool room, and overall, we’re really happy with them. My kids absolutely love how comfy they are, making our study sessions much more enjoyable. They’ve held up well over time, and the blue color is exactly as shown in the listing photo. While I do wish they held a bit more solid shape, they still provide great comfort and support. I find them to be a little pricey, but considering the quality and how much we use them, I feel it’s worth it. If you’re looking for stylish and comfy cushions for your space, these are a solid choice!

I bought this to get a bit more serious about mindfulness meditation. I weigh about 230lbs, and this cushion is very supportive. It contours just enough to be comfortable but doesn’t sink down. The color is fine; I would have liked a darker green color. The fabric feels pretty durable and the carrying handle is a nice touch. It helps me stay in a comfortable position while learning to meditate.

I've been meditating daily for almost a year now. I started off trying to sit cross-legged but couldn't get comfortable at all. I tried sitting on a pillow too to try to elevate my hips above my knees for posture, but my legs kept falling asleep even for 20 minute sessions. I then moved to a chair for a while which solved the problem, but it was the same chair I sat in all day for work so it was hard to context switch. One day I was reading about how a zafu could help for sitting meditations so I gave this one a go since it was reasonably priced. I was a huge fan as soon as I sat down. I wish I would have bought this months ago! My meditation sessions now fly by and I can sit comfortably for 30 minutes. It's much easier to lose track of time as well and go over. My husband and I got one for my FIL too since we liked it so much. It was easy to transport so he could try it out before we got it for him. A bit of a caveat though is that you may want to get a zafuton to place this on to mitigate sore ankles. I noticed this a little trying this cushion out on the carpet. I fortunately already had a Japanese futon and using this cushion on it to meditate works awesome! Overall, this is an awesome product and I'd highly recommend it :)

The meditation cushion looks great. The size is 12 inches. The fabric is 100% cotton. The cover is removable and washable. The zipper is good quality. Easily goes back to shape when you set it on the ground. Perfect support for sitting.

I like the quality of the material however this round cushion didn't have enough filling (under filled) so it was too soft compared to the first cushion (crescent) I purchased a month ago. Otherwise, I would rate it a 5 star.

Tout petit et très cher. Payé aussi cher juste parsque c’est un coussin de « yoga ». Mon épouse l’aime bien, mais moi, je trouve que c’est beaucoup payé juste pour un pouf ridiculement petit.

i would like space for my ankles to rest closer to my crotch when i sit cross-legged-- i was tempted to buy the bean-shape of this but the size offered is too big for my knees to rest below my hips. thus-- i vouch for a 'lady-size' bean-shaped cushion. removed some buckwheat cuz mine was too poofy, more is better than not enough- i suppose. update i removed 7 cups of buckwheat-- disadvantage to the round shape-- 1) sat, the buckwheat migrates to the round part that sticks past ur crotch, fixed by seating on it then pushing the seat in, it is good-- i see why there's a bean shape, for a second reason... 2) there is no support past ur sitting bones, round shape feels like it's just hanging off without support, even when cross-legged on the floor, removed 7 cups of buckwheat for desired loft spend 8 more dollars is worth for the bean shape make sure you have a yoga mat or a nice surface for ur ankles if ur on hardwood floor-- push the seat in after mashing ur butt into the seat initially, get better weight distribution (i sink too far in b/c the front pushing my leg and hip backward due to the aforementioned buckwheat redistribution with unseated part of the round cushion) i'm not sure why they don't just sell the bean model, the round is pretty much a version 1, that's inferior in many ways to the bean-shape...
