Moen 2186 Replacement Part,Chrome

A perfect replacement for my rusted aerator on my Moen garden tub faucet.

My tub faucet has been missing this piece every since I bought my house. I have just put up with the water splashing out for the past 13 years because I figured it was no big deal. What a difference this thing makes. It does not reduce the water pressure at all, it just simply directs the water flow down instead of out and keeps it from splashing. It is has just a screen filter and makes the water come out in a nice round solid flow. I should have bought this years ago.

Fit the Roman tub Moen faucet perfectly. No flow restriction and no aeration which is just what I want. Our tub was installed without one and grit shows up in the tub. Now I have no grit. Expect I will have to clean screen periodically which is better than cleaning out tub every day.
