Sure, it has a protagonist, but ultimately, this is an ensemble story. It is the camaraderie that exists within this large group of folks that makes the story work. And it is a fine story, where the group fights for what matters - freedom, family, friendship, and all that is real and true.As others have mentioned, if you are any sort of good person, you probably know people just like these. If not, more's the pity for your wretched life.I would gladly call each and every one of these people my friend....if they really existed.

You can tell this book was written by an engineer, the prose is terse, and every phrase is there for a purpose. What surprised me was Guisippe’s talent to describe things of beauty.This book is like hitting the throttle on a friend’s sport bike, it launches at a rate that’s scary and keeps going, yet your enjoying it to much to be scared. I definitely recommend it, the ending is not what was expected, it’s a message of how the courage to do what you believe pays off.

This book is great and particularly amusing to the discerning reader!!! I enjoyed the development of characters and the pacing.Definitely a Must Have for the Science Fiction reader of a particular note!!!!

A quality science fiction novella by Giuseppe Filotto. You'll laugh. You might even cry...laughing. The galaxy needs more space confederates, that's all I can say.Quick, easy read; a real blast.

One of the minor characters hit very close to home for me. It was almost like I knew him my entire life. Well written and executed.

Loved this book. need to see the concepts in the book expanded on... like the antigrav tech for example. I did Nazi that coming.
