Good addition to a vacuum bleeder
Bought for work to make it easier to keep the master cylinder topped up while vacuum bleeding and works great for that, never tried the brake bottle adapers only used the supplied bottle. Also works well for doing old school manual bleeds if you dont have a vacuum bleeder

It’s got a few problems
For awhile mine was broken and just dumped fluid into the reservoir and made a mess but now it’s randomly working again. It’s style means that it doesn’t fit in some places without a bungee cord

Super helpful in spite of a couple of minor problems
I bled the brakes and clutch on my 2003 VW Jetta yesterday using this kit. I used Ate (German) DOT4 low viscosity fluid from a 1L can, and neither of the supplied bottle adapters fit, so I used the supplied bulk bottle, which worked well. Also, the supplied base that clamps onto the master cylinder would not fit, because the master cylinder opening was too small for it. However, it was easy to prop the bottle in place against surrounding engine parts, and the spring clip height adjuster was sufficient for the small MC opening. So even though I had two problems right off the bat, they turned out not to affect the use or performance of the kit.Once in place, the system worked beautifully. I was able to concentrate on bleeding without worrying about the MC fluid level getting too low. This is a big deal in my car, because if air gets into the ABS controller, it is a royal pain in the patootie to bleed it out, requiring expensive VCDS diagnostic software/interface plus lots of time. So for me, this kit was extremely helpful and worked great for me. Now all I need is an electric remote-controlled brake pedal pusher, and bleeding the brakes will be a one-person job.I've made suggestions to MityVac via their website:1. Sell a Euro accessory kit with a clamp that will fit the smaller European master cylinder openings. If I recall correctly, there is a standard opening which most/all European cars use. Also include brake fluid can adapter(s) that will fit European cans like Ate and Pentosin.2. Include a 6" angled extension tube for cars where the MC is buried and hard to access, like my other Volkswagen, a New Beetle.

It works but a couple of things to watch out for...
All-in-all it's a good unit and I would buy it again. It's probably exactly what you need but please read on so you can learn from my experience. The first thing I didn't like...I strongly suggest you don't use the adapters to dispense brake fluid directly from a retail bottle. Here's why. The kit comes with a couple of adapters to accommodate off-the-shelf, retail bottles of brake fluid. I used one on a fresh, brand new bottle of brake fiuid and was immediately sorry I did. You screw on the adapter and then press it into the valve assembly. Then you turn the bottle and assembly upside down on the master cylinder reservoir and open the valve to dispense the brake fluid and begin your flushing operation. That all should work fine but the bottle of brake fluid I bought only had about two threads and that did not create a good seal or a secure coupling with the adapter. Even though the valve was still closed, as soon as I turned the bottle/adapter assembly upside down air leaked in around the inadequate seal and brake fluid leaked all around the adapter. I tried to tighten the bottle but, being held only by two threads, it became completely detached with brake fluid spewing everywhere. I rushed into cleanup mode and was fortunate to not suffer any paint damage. Avoid that whole nightmare unless you are extremely confident you can get a good seal. My bottle was not cross-threaded; there just was not enough thread to get a good seal. I found the best approach was to simply pour the new brake fluid into the supplied bottle; it seals well with the adapter and you can proceed panic-free.The second thing I did not like was that while they include two tops for the supplied bottle they only include one ring seal. One of the tops is used during the dispensing/flushing operation and I presume the other top is intended to be used to store the unused fluid in an airtight manner. But with only a single ring seal, you'll have to swap it between tops--makes no sense to me. I simply recycled my leftover fluid--there wasn't that much left anyway, most of it was on my garage floor--see "First thing" above :-)

Does what it’s supposed to do.
It works great for the most part. My only complaint is that it gets too heavy when the jug is full of course. Due to the adapter only having a clamp on one side, if you’re not careful, it’ll fall over and make a mess with brake fluid. Other that that it does just fine.
