I ordered the red, which is more of a deep red, for my vintage Sony turntable. It looks great, and the size is just right. I like the acrylic much better than the original rubber mat.

My teen daughter is in to records/albums now. This was great. She loves it. The purple is such a great color. Quality is amazing. Packaging was super secure!

The mat puts life into your music, better than standard felt mats. Unfortunately it is a very dark red, not like the picture on Amazon and does not match the color of my red Project RPM 1 Carbon turntable.

This is a great mat for vinyl. I use one of these on a new Audio-Technica belt-drive turntable, andone on a 80s-era Onkyo direct-drive one. Putting this on top of the standard aluminum platter has improved the sound greatly, and gets rid of the need for a separate cork or felt slipmat. Absolutely great cost-cutting alternative to finding and replacing the platter with a large acrylic one.Note: this is by no means a slipmat, really. I wouldn't plan on using this as you would a slipmat for DJing or sampling, etc.

I bought this to upgrade my JVC direct drive turntable that was made in the 80s. I am really amazed at how upgrading from a rubber mat to an acrylic one improves overall performance. There's a lot less static, dust, and pet hair on my records now. I feel like there's less skipping due to better isolation. And the sound is noticeably clearer and deeper. If you've got a low-to-mid tier turntable and want to make it sound better, my advice to you is to get an acrylic platter mat and an upgraded stylus cartridge. I guarantee doing those two things will make it sound like a brand new stereo.

I got this even though I thought the holes in my platter would show through on my Teac tn-3b, but it’s so dark that it actually just looks like a deep reddish/ black, which looks amazing. The red comes through a little more on the silver edges, and it ends precisely at the bevel which looks amazing and professional. Adds some weight too. 🤌

I love the beautiful deep red color. Looks great with my red turntable. I believe it also improved the sound quality to some degree. However, I did notice a chip on the side of my mat. Overall great product!
