In principle, it's great! In practice, it's no longer a keychain and therefore, just another USB stick and here's why:This comes with one of those rock-climber clip style keychains but, it doesn't come with a method to attach it to the device. So, i attached a small metal "normal" ring clip and then attached the rock-climber style to this and it seemed to work OK until.... snap. The tiny, not-reinforced hole for the normal ring keychain was incredibly weak and, is now snapped meaning there is no way to attach this to ANY keychain turning it into a normal USB stick and removing its convenience for me.Such a shame, potentially a great little convenient device, let down by poor design/manufacturing. Going in the bin.Anyone know any alternatives?

This is a pretty nice little item to keep on your key chain. I pre-ordered this item and there was a delay in their initial shipments so to make up for it they included a nice retractable iPod/iPhone charging/sync cable at no additional cost - nice customer service there.Pros:- Compact. This thing is pretty tiny.- Folds up into a nice square with rounded edges so it doesn't poke you in your pocket- Charges both i-devices (i.e. Apple) and micro-USB devices (i.e. Kindle, Fire, most other phones)Cons:- Short cable. It's to be expected, given what this is, but it's really, really short.- The full size USB connector that goes into your computer is a bit flimsy. Again, given what this is, that's to be expected, but unlike "regular" USBs, there's no metal around the connector. I'd imagine it wouldn't take much torque to break it.- The only way to attach it to a key ring is to use the little black string that comes with it. Eventually, I'll bet it breaks and I'll have to figure out something else. A little stranded wire that screws together (as I've seen on other key ring items) would be better and not much thicker. Sure, it might add a buck or two to the cost, but it's be worth it.- Can be kind of difficult to get back together if you have fat fingers like I do. Still, a little practice and it gets easier.Overall, a very good item that will pay for itself the first time you really, really need your phone to have a charge.

Great product. Tiny. Really really really small. Great for iPhones/iPads (older generations) as well as micro-USB charged devices. Replaced 4 cables in my computer bag with one. Downside, as should be apparent from the picture, is that the cable is only a few inches long, so no using this in a wall outlet unless you want to hang your device from the plug...and can get in the way on your desk depending on which laptop USB outlet you use (e.g. sides vs. back).

This is an excellent tool to have in my pocket. I work with a lot of micro SD cards doing drone photography. This tool makes it easy to view the photos on the SD card quickly

Handy little tool that I used to carry around with me at work. Still would carry it if I had not upgraded to the iPhone 5S, which has a different connector. The short cord is kinda limiting, but it is small and easy to carry, and perfect for those emergency situations that pop up.

This little miracle cable has helped me out of a jam numerous times. And the ability to add the micro card gives me the perfect emergency storage solution...used more than once.I've tried to buy more but I can't seem to find any online. Why would they discontinue such a great product?

This product is very convenient and reliable. Especially if you buy a nice, large capacity microsd card to go with it-- it'll replace whatever flash drive needs you'll ever have.One day I noticed a fracture on the exterior plastic, which may or may not have resulted from my misuse. I contacted their RMA department and got a prompt reply. Sent in some pictures, and two days later a brand new one showed up in my mailbox. That's beautiful customer service by anyone's standard. iBattz has earned my loyalty-- definitely a safe direction to go.

Device is compact and sturdy. I was worried at first about the tolerance tightness on the dongle, since it uses the half-tooth design instead of the full double-covered one and have had issues with other products in the past like it, but this fits snugly in ports. The cord is a little short in retrospect, so charging from a desktop requires a USB extender-- but would be fine to charge from a laptop.Overall, I highly recommend this product.
