After my beard gets longer than a couple inches, it starts curling. My Norwegian DNA apparently! The kit came complete with some beard oil, some beard bomb, a nice little fine toothed grooming comb and soft brush. All in a little carrying bag. The heated straightening tool easily straightens my beard and also helps style my moustache perfectly. The oil is a very good quality product and helps the straightening process along with being a very nice citrus scent. Excellent buy. Easy to use, very nice price. Highly recommend this product.

Works as intended. The heat brush is fantastic and gets the job done. The oil and wax both smell good and makes my beard softer. No rash or irritation from this. And the comb and brush is a nice addition. Use both every time I do my beard. And this works for my hair too even having long hair.

It’s a nice kit everything does as it should brush doesn’t lose strand the straightener works definitely read the instructions all in all it’s a decent kit.

This is excellent quality beard oil. Works great, smells awesome. Not greasy! Would definitely recommend.

I so so so wanted to give this kit five stars. I was expecting to after reading the other wonderful reviews. Sadly the beard "care" essentials turned out to be cheaply made products that are riddled with chemicals. Nothing smelled natural about any of the balms, oil or anti heat spray. The shampoo and conditioner reeked of chemicals and smelt much like the free soaps you get at a hotel for your nightly stay. To start with, something in the shampoo and conditioner set my allergies off like crazy. I had to rehash my face and beard to get my nose to calm down. My eyes were itchy, and my nose ran like Niagara falls for hours after. The beard balm and oil were so bad that my face itched and my nose and eyes were off to the races for 24 hours. No allergy med could tame whatever set it off in the products. So needless to say, nothing worked as far as the care products were concerned. My beard became dehydrated and super straw like to the touch. My wife never really complains about the scratchy feel of the beard when I use my normal products, but these in this kit? Yeah, she immediately noticed the difference. The beard straightener, shears, comb and brush are by far the best part of this entire kit. They are so nice. I never would have thought a beard straightener would have become an essential part of my daily routine, but it now has. It's such a nice luxury and really does help tame a thicker wilder beard. It makes cutting the stray hairs more easier. All in all I'd recommend Duke Cannon products. Sure they are pricier but dang to they work and make you feel so nice and clean after. The idea of this kit was nice, but my suggestion is to keep thr ebook and the taming tools and toss the garbage balms, oils and shampoos. Total trash and not worth bathing your face in.
