I guess ill be the one to review this in a way I'm sure many people wore wondering about.This in Tandem withhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XY112F7/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2is for BDSM, unlike many collars intended for dogs this is very comfortable around the neck where it meets the skin and has held up to lots of intense pulling and tugging. the linked leash matches color perfectly and while id say the leash is to short for dog walking its great for Dom/Sub play.Over all I got this for my GF and I expect it to be in our collection for years to come.

I was very pleased with the quality of this genuine leather collar. I purchased the blue one which is lined with black leather on the inside. It fits true to size. The only thing wrong about the sizing is the width of the collar. It is actually 1 inch wide on the small collar, which I don't mind, but is different than specified. There are 9 spikes and 16 decorative rivets (8 on each side) of the small collar which covers the top half of the collar when placed on the dog. As some other reviewers mentioned, it would have been nice for the spikes to go further around, but then it could interfere with the buckle and leather overlap. You could always add more spike rivets. Those are available on Amazon, but not sure what size rivets to order. Overall this is a great collar for a very good price!

The collar only has spikes along ~1/4-1/3rd of the collar. It looks bad with them only going around ~1/4-1/3 of the dog's neck. (See photo below. The the one with spikes for essentially the entire length is the old one I'm trying to replace.)

Love it! And my dog seems to be comfortable in it also. We actually purchased this as somewhat of protection for our dog as we have a larger dog that always tries to grab her by the neck- once we put his collar on he doesn’t try to do that quite as much anymore and if he does she doesn’t get hurt.

Bought this for my large chihuahua. I like that it is a very sturdy leather and has an actual buckle. We have gone through quite a few of the nylon, clothe, and thin leather collars. My dog may be tiny, but he can be a terror. He is always sticking his nose where he shouldn't be. He has a knack for getting out of the snap collars. I haven't figured out how he does it, hence the joy of an actual buckle. Plus the studs on the collar are a nice touch. They really make the collar more befitting his Napoleonic personality and seem well embedded. They may even offer him some protection whenever he goes into explorer mode. The studs do make putting the particular harness I have for him more difficult, though, but he does look very macho. I'm guessing I will have to take his collar off then put it back on to get him in his winter walking sweater and that his colder weather coat or vest might have problems closing around his neck. But there are workarounds for that. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The quality is decent. It's thicker than I thought, and I measured my pups neck and ordered according to the size chart but it was still large. He tried to get it off himself and it got stuck in his mouth. I drilled a couple more holes and clipped off the excess. It looks pretty cool on him now. It's a bit heavy so I only put it on him for short periods of time.

The size chart is a lie. The small, 10"to13" is a full inch wide. The chart claims it is 5/8 th inch. This is the only reason I chose to buy this one. Highly disappointed!

It’s nice knowing that could work as a bite deterrent in addition to being a fashion statement. Especially with a small dog I worry about loose large dogs. I wish I had ordered up as there is four inches that could overlapped before the spikes started up after it buckled. The holes allow for four inches of adjustment on my size. It’s supple and we’ll make two layers stitches together you won’t be able to cut off excess. Measure. Red is nice looking and look great with blonde fawn colored pug.
