I love the quiet engine and the fuel efficiency.
I oscillated for quite a while before making this purchase. After all, I had a working 2500 watt generator with a Honda engine that worked just fine all summer long . I was off grid in my travel trailer from May 2 to the end of October. This one wasn't cheap. But I bit the bullet and bought it. The first thing that impressed me was how quiet it was while running. I can hardly hear it when I'm inside my travel trailer. Vs. the other one where I have to turn the TV almost to full volume so I can hear it. The second thing I like is the ability to put it in eco mode where the engine throttles back and the inverter continues producing 120VAC. There's no need for the engine to run full speed if I'm only drawing 200 watts. Instead of refilling my old generator every two or three hours, I can go for 8 hours. The third thing I really like is the iPhone app. I normally watch a movie at night before crawling into bed. But I would always have to get up, shut down the generator, walk back with my head lamp... Now I can crawl into bed, pull out my phone and shut it down remotely. An internet connection is not required, just wireless between the phone and the generator / inverter. The only suggestion for improvement to this generator is to add a wake up function: I set the time I want to get up, it powers up before that, starts the coffee pot and wakes me up when it's done... (not holding my breath on this one!). I'm very happy with this purchase. It's worth the money to me.

Great generator
Great little generator. It is ease to use and setup. The quiet design makes it worth the cost.

Quiet Quality Power
This product was referred to me by another contractor working out in the field. I had never used an 'Inverter' and had to Google the term to find out what this product offers over a standard generator. What I have found is that it provides hours more service at a much lower noise level. At first, I was nervous about the lower Watts offered compared to standard generators. However, I was able to run a commercial grade paint sprayer, have an electric sander going, while also charging up lithium batteries for cordless tools. All of this, and we never had any issues and only had to top off the tank once a day. Honda's are a bit pricy when compared to other brands. However, they stand alone in the level of quality they provide with their small motors. One can expect years of service with little maintenance costs. A dependable, lightweight generator that will help conserve gas when it matters the most! Oh yeah, its pretty quiet too.

Great Product
I bought this back in 2021 and used it twice for a few hours for with my RV. Well current day, i have left it outside in the rain, snow, storms, for 2 years next to my shead. Honestly, I forgot about it and today i need it. I put fresh gas in it and she started right up and worked like new. Its covered in cobwebs, leaves, and debris but other than that its perfect, no rust, internal damage, oil was still good, etc. I recommend the product and connecting it to the APP is great, keep al the maintence data right there.

Honda Reliability and Fuel Efficient Too….
It’s hard to beat a Honda product for quality and reliability. The Eco mode is great for saving fuel, and the generator runs much quieter if you aren’t pulling a lot of Amps. The generator also has a great app with BlueTooth connectivity so you can monitor your generator’s performance and keep tabs on when routine maintenance is required. Honda generators aren’t cheap, as you could buy similar capacity units for 50-60% of the cost. I just like Honda quality. When I need a generator, I don’t want to take my chances on a less reliable unit. Been there, done that, lesson learned. You do need to pay attention to the maintenance requirements and short/longer term storage procedures, regardless of what generator you buy. It is easy to forget about the maintenance if you don’t use a generator often.

Nice, but spendy. Carbureted and doesn't deliver rated power at altitude.
So this generator as everyone knows costs twice what the competition does. Just like them, it is carbureted and just like your dad's 60s Ford, it must be adjusted for altitude, but in this case you have to physically replace the carburetor jet to regain some performance. I guess that for twice the price I thought I'd get something more. My 1998 Honda VFR had fuel injection, and had no apparent issues or horsepower loss at 8,000', but not this expensive generator. So if you think you can run your RV AC with this in the mountains, guess again - it won't cut it. Other than that, sure, nice unit with Honda quality. Starts on first pull. I can get a bit over 1700 watts from it in Denver out of the box and you need 1800 for 13.5 AC. I replaced the jet with the next size smaller and then it will run the AC. That jet is rated for 2000' to 10,000'. Took about 30 minutes to swap but would probably be half that time now that I've done it.

Fantastic generator
Excellent generator. This is super quiet, lightweight, and starts the first pull just about every time. It is expensive, but worth it. This is a nice backup for the home generator, but is primarily used for shorepower on the boat. It runs the A/C, microwave, everything. And you can barely tell it is running, it is so quiet. Runtime is excellent on only a gallon of gas, easily 8 hours. I looked at all the lower priced knockoffs, but ultimately decided on this. You can't go wrong with a Honda!

Good one
Perfect size. Love the Bluetooth app. Easy to crank for my bad shoulder. About as loud as a battery powered mower - not a nuisance.
