Works quite well
I've been looking for a cell mount that did not interfere with the a/c vents, and while I was a bit hesitant about this (some of the reviews indicated problems with it not adhering well) I am quite satisfied. It's mounted on the front dash of my RAV4 SUV, and it has stayed there for several months. I use it for direction assist through Waves, and it's proven to be easy to see, at the level where I don't really take my eye off the road, and it stays on even over speed bumps taken a bit too quickly. I'm told that it also works on a windshield, but have not tried that as it would interfere with my line of sight in my vehicle. It's quite sturdy. Recommended.

Product is good; warranty and customer service are even better!
It's a dashboard phone mount--there are dozens, maybe hundreds so why choose this one? Well, it's a good product overall. It has a spring grip that allows you to put nearly any phone in it, the suction cup is good and re-stickable if you clean it with warm water and won't leave a mark on your dashboard but what is really excellent about this product is the company. A spring pin inside the gripper mechanism broke almost 10 months after I bought this. . . things like happen sometimes. I was looking at buying another one--maybe the same one, maybe a different one and was comparing products when I noted that Zilu warranties this. I wrote them an email and less than half a day later they messaged me asking where they could send my replacement! GREAT COMPANY and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE are what count when really there are tons of products that are going to be mostly about the same.

The stickiness of the base was fine for awhile
It does the job and holds my phone with a secure grip, but it turns out a dashboard/window sticking design doesn't work for me. I live in Arizona which is hot most of the year; I was using this phone holder to assist me with a delivery job which relied 100% on the phone for operations. Working in the spring and summer my dashboard would get EXTREMELY hot, which would put my phone in danger of overheating, which would be very disruptive to the work schedule. Being on my dashboard, it was also too far away from my car's electric outlet for me to charge it while I was driving–which could be solved by buying a longer charging cable–but was inconvenient for me. The stickiness of the base was fine for awhile, but weakened over a period of a month or so and became somewhat unstable, especially while holding a phone.I'm pleased with the strength of the grip and sturdiness of the joint for swiveling it in different directions, but not having an automatic release component makes it difficult to pry the phone out of the holder. If you live in a cooler area this holder would be a lot more viable, but I found that getting a holder which attaches to an air vent solves all the issues of avoiding overheating, being closer to my outlet for charging, and not having to worry about the sticky base losing its grip.

Great, just don't leave it in a hot car
This device has great suction. My iPhone SE in its Otter box fits in it just fine with easy accessibility to the volume buttons. The suction is so good that it takes some effort to get it off. So I left it on the windshield all this summer. It gets to be in the 90s here. The plastic goo that is on the suction cup melted and left a gooey mess on my windshield. I spent a half hour using a razor blade, then Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day to get it all off. The mount is ruined, but they're cheap and I'll buy another one. I guess I should have known better, but I also think the manufacturer should include this warning in the box.

Will not work for extra wide phones. Smaller phones should be okay
I ordered this mount to hold my Samsung Note Edge. Unfortunately that did not work out very well. At maximum extension, the bracket is barely wide enough to accommodate the phone. And that too only if I take the protective cover off. A smaller phone would fit okay I suppose. On the plus side, I have to say the adhesive pad is strong, it is holding up the phone with a heavy extended battery one minute after I placed it on the dash. And, it peeled off the first surface I put it on and stuck to the second just fine. So, if you do not have the extra wide phone, you would probably get good mileage off this mount. For my phone, not so much.

Fundamentally Flawed Design
It works decently until it breaks. Before then, the clip interface is annoying. The arm can clip onto the suction cup in two directions so you can fit the mount to your use case, but this clip is very loose. It will only hold on one side. This results in a lot of very avoidable wobble. It will, however, work.Still, the internals of this mount are flawed. The springs are held in place by thin, plastic posts that break very easily. I’ve owned two and they don’t last more than a few months. Those posts inevitably crumble and the springs fall off rendering the mount unusable.

I had to buy this twice. The first time my son put the paper on the sticky part and ruined that along with pet hair and dirt so it wouldn't work at all. I decided to try it again and hide it till I put it up and I was able to move it three different times before I found the spot that worked best while driving and it still sticks great! You have so many options to stage it that it's great! I was hesitant about buying it but I love it! I've already used it several times!

Worked for a week.
This worked great....for a week, now keeps falling off, broke my glass screen protector on my phone, glad I had one or the screen glass would have shattered. Tried cleaning my windshield several times, as well as the base of the phone mount with just water, still won't stay put. I no longer trust it. I do not recommend buying this, waste of money and a hazard to your phone.
