I just received the machete and it looks and feel great. Does anyone know the type of metal its made from?

Does the saw teeth on the spine actually saw? How good?

The problem I have with the saw is the wood pieces that you can saw are easier to break with the actual machete.

Mine states "Handforged in China" on the blade.
