Needed To Cut Into Air Filters For My BedJet - PERFECT FOR THE JOB!
My BedJet II uses a small rectangle shaped foam filter (5" x 10" x 3/16") that catches dust, lint, etc. at the air inlet end of the machine (think inflow on a vacuum). The filter that comes on the BedJet is a simple thin piece of foam that's hand washable or can be gently cleaned with a vacuum. It's a really cheap filter, it's just a piece of foam that doesn't have a frame or anything like that. (Since this functioned as a light duty filter, a foam filter with rigid frame would have been overkill.I first searched the BedJet company website, didn't see anywhere on the site that the Company sold the filters. (Probably no money in selling 10 cent pieces of foam.) So since it was a pathetically simple filter I decided to fabricate my own.Ordered this foam sheet based on it being 3/16" thick; the BedJet one measured about the same thickness. Warning: Compared to the foam filter on the BedJet, this foam is NOT as dense. Will that matter, i.e., is this foam less protective? I dunno. I'm going to keep an eye on how much dirt, lint, or other debris (e.g., the lint from flannel bed sheets) this filter catches compared to the "heartier" BedJet stock filter. If it's not working as well, I will need to search for another foam/filter solution. The foam arrived, I quickly used the existing filter as a template to form the filter. Tools were a pair of full sized scissors for the long cuts, and manicurist scissors for the small cuts. A few snip snip snips, I was all done. At the moment of truth if fit perfect and the machine works great. With one sheet I can make four filters. Can't beat that price point, $1.50 each total cost. (My labor is free.)So subject to the density issue, if you need to make a homemade filter, if this is the thickness and dimensions you need I highly recommend the product.Between me and my family we have four BedJets. So I'll be ordering more sheets so I don't have to think about making filters for a long time. And at this price point I will buy some extra sheets because one can never have enough filter foam for cutting to shape and size and placing it on or in any device that sucks in air.

these catch the dust well
These AC filters really catch dust well. We have a 2 huge "through the wall " Acs that cool the entire floor.Even though I vacuum the house daily, we live by the beach so it's windier here. During the heatwave, one or both Acs were on a lot and these filters really filtered everything that the daily vacuuming didn't catch.Cutting the filters is easy, just match it up to your AC and cut, then put it in. I check the filter every Saturday - remove and wash it, let it dry and place it back in. The filter size I needed is exactly half the size of this filter so cutting it in half gives me 2 filters, and the other is used on the second floor through the wall AC, that cools that floor.I definitely recommend these filters. They do the job, are easily maintained and last a long time.

Inexpensive, washible filter for many uses
I have used these in a/c, air cleaners and fans to reduce dust and allergens. Work and last well - just vaccum/rinse/squeeze out/reuse. Duck brand makes 1/4" thick ones, for better filtering, if it fits.

They’re Inexpensive and help Collect larger lint and dust
I like these. I know, they’re old school. I use them as a kind of prefilter over the plastic mesh filter in my combo ac/heat unit. They are quite thin, easily installed, no bulk to impact airflow or closing the cover. They cut like a dream for custom fit. As to air quality, well they’re thin and porous so they’re not going to get small dust particles, but getting larger ones, cat hairs, etc., I think they’re worth helping even a little with air quality.

Works good, minimal airflow impedance
Material is soft, pliable, easily cut, and has very little impact on airflow. Purchased to create a dust filter for a blower-style fan to keep the blades clean, cutting the foam to the appropriate shape/size and then taping to the intake grills. Works great so far, I can already see the dust and tiny debris it's blocked from getting sucked in.

Great filter media
I used this filter media to replace the dry rotted sponge filter media on my ski goggles. I made tape templates of the locations for the filters on the goggles. Then i used the tape templates to cut the filter media to the correct shape and size. Glued the replacements into place. Worked great. And much cheaper than a new$150 ski goggle. I use my goggles for driving my bass boat during cold/tainy weather.

Perfect for PC filters
This product is the correct thickness to be used in PC cases without stifling airflow. It’s great at keeping pet hair and dander and dust from getting inside your case. I bought this to be used in conjunction with the mesh that comes with magnet strips that sticks to the case. The mesh either factory or bought online has holes big enough to allow all sorts of buildup to enter your PC tower. A layer of this foam corrects that issue while not stifling airflow. Highly recommend for people who build custom pc's.

It's a low-cost dust filter for an in-wall/in-window AC unit and does the job.
This filter is not going to remove small microbes or viruses or any of that nor was it meant to - it's job is to keep dust from getting into the fine aluminum fins of the air intake area of an AC unit. In that capacity it does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to cut and fit I had it on the AC in about 2 minutes. At this price point you can't go wrong - I saw the same thing from another brand for 3x as much but why bother? At this price, I can replace it when it gets dirty instead of trying to clean the somewhat fragile material.
