The blanket is soft and my son loves it. He covers his whole body (head included) when he falls asleep.

Space Explorers Not dark blue as described (2 twin sets - more denim blue)
Beware: photo and the Description for the SPACE explorers version said DARK BLUE but it definitely is NOT. Turns out to be more of a muted gray-blue background, not a typical deep dark navy blue to represent space and provide good background for the details like rocket ships. Maybe I should have spent a bit more on another set, that has the normal dark blue of space designs and verify it was DARK BLUE.While it doesn’t coordinate with typical boys room (dark blue), nor existing navy blue decor and paint, the boys don’t care. They love the rockets so I am not wasting time/effort on a return when there was a sale. Note - I bought TWO SETS for twin beds and BOTH are this washed out denim color, so not just a mistake on one.
