Excellent price. Good quality video. This is the 3rd camera purchased. Monitoring is a cinch on your smart phone. The only issue I have is using this model with ISpy software. The C7815 works ok but the C7824wip does not. Not a problem because the free Eye4 software does it all and the Android App easily monitors all of them. In fact the AXIS 210 and Tenvis will go and be replaced by 2 more of these. How easy it is to set up once you figure it out. How ot do it?Hook up to your router via network cable. Download and open the IP Camera finder on Vstarcam web site and find your camera. In your address bar of your browser (not google search) add the address provided (example 150.50.5.50:1115. You must remember the port. The IP address is automatic. Go into the built in web server and configure your WiFi. Be sure to let the camera fully reboot once you configure.With your smartphone on your netwo0rk, download the Eye4 App. FRom the home screen go to device manager and click ADD CAMERA or the + on the upper right. All cameras will be listed. But it is important to be sure to give them names in the setup on your PC or MAC so you know which camera is which. On the list of found cameras, click on each and click add camera. Simple.I like this feature since ISpy requires you to use their service to view out of network. This is free using VStarCam's free DDNS service.

I'm not super-tech savy, but I've set up two ip cameras before (with some struggle/effort). This one was more difficult that converting an old cell phone into an ip camera. I downloaded the software to my cell phone, which is required to register/setup the camera. The one-touch feature didn't work for me, and after several tries I went with the method where you plug the camera directly into the router. This did work.Once it was online, I got it working with the EyeCloud app- which works, but is kind of junk. This is the same app as the Eye4 app for Vstarcam, I downloaded that to see if it works any better- it's exactly the same. Ultimately I figured out the IP address for the camera (again, port =81) and used a different android App. I still have Eyecloud on my phone, which does allow remove viewing. I didn't have to forward any ports on my router, which was nice.I'm still looking for a good ip viewer for my computer- I downloaded the Eye4 window program, which works, but I feel like I could do better.Despite all of these complaints and difficulty getting set up, it works well for the price once you get it figured out. The nightvision works, pan/tilt works, the image is good.

Its took a long time to get it online and remote. It still doesn't follow. We got it working (or so we thought) went out, we checked camera and found someone in our room. Camera did not follow and when we used presets the camera went all the way to a wall and would not go back. And alarm never sounded! We are still using it but it simply doesn't do everything ad and box says it will do. My boyfriend is happy with it! I just wish it would do what it said it would ! As long as boyfriend is happy I will give this product an A OK but there are items that could use a little work! Update; it's been about 6 months since we got this camera. There was an update shortly after my 1st review that rendered my camera unuseable. for 2 months it said camera offline! The there was another update, finnaly camera is able tstart up, only problem is no alarm! So somebody have to watch in order to catch it going off because it will not send any alertor allarms! We bought this camera because it had alarmand could be use via cell phone. This has been a huge disappointment! Pleasfix this proble!!!

Not easy to setup, The alarm motion detection sending an email doesn't work. Using a browser I have logged into the camera and made allthe settings correct for my email information. Click TEST confirms by sending me an email however the alarm motion detection, if you checkto send you an email is suppose to do just that when motion is detected. Could not get it to work. The setup is similar to my Foscam IP cameraswhich work perfectly.

Rebranded VStar Cam. A bit of effort to set up but once done they work great. Advertised 720 but more like 640x480 cropped to a 16:9 aspect. Images are clear and pan tilt feature is great. Ditch the app they tell you to install and download a different IP can viewer. This work so well I'll plan too buy two more

It's a good camera, the app that it tells you to download is crap. But it's smooth, great picture, great quality. A bit of a hassle to set up, but once it's set up it's super easy to use!
