Gentle Grammar: Level 3

I like that it is a gentle approach to grammar. My children are learning without feeling like they are being drilled with grammar.

My grandson started with the 1st book and now we are on lesson 39 of the 3rd book. His writing has improved so much. The lessons are gentle but encourage him to think. He will begin book 4 in about a month. Thank you Sherry Hayes at momdelights.com for all you do!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I’m really confused by all the good ones. This was an absolutely waste of time. It’s full of typos and errors, teaches kids to talk like they’re from another time period that no one understands anymore, and barely taught my kids anything useful. It very briefly went over adjectives and verbs, but that was about it. We’re about to finish the book and we’re going to have to do a whole other third grade grammar program because he did not learn what he needed to per our state’s requirements. I absolutely do not recommend.

I started using these books with my 9 year old and now am also using with my 8 year old (boys). For the most part, these books are very hands off, which I love. The directions are simple and easy to understand. The lessons are quick and painless but get the job done. I plan on using the entire series with all my kids because they are just so enjoyable and don't cause any tears (for me or my kids lol)!
