These locks were exactly what I needed. I have an autistic child who is extremely compulsive. When we travel I use them to lock the electronics in my baggage. Three-digits would not be enough of a deterrent, but four digits seems to work!When the locks are open, the combination is displayed on the lock, so if you don't want certain people (or, in my case, certain children) to see the combination, you can't let them handle the opened lock without spinning the dials. However, in order to relock it you will need to reenter the combination.The dials turn very easily. Unlocking this lock is a breeze.Setting a new combination is straightforward. When the lock is open, you rotate the shackle about 90 degrees until a small bump on the shackle aligns with a opening at the base of the shackle. You then press downward on the shackle. At this time the number dials can rotate and whatever new sequence you rotate them to becomes the new combination of the lock.This is a rather thin lock and can be cut with a bolt cutter. I think this is a good thing because if I forget the combination I want an easy and cheap way to remove the lock. So, for many situation where you want a lock that will provide a deterrent but don't need it to be unbreakable (such as for luggage (though not for airline flights where TSA needs to be able to get into your luggage), lockers, locking cabinets at home, etc.) this is a great and reasonably priced solution!

love these locks. Great value pricing. They are easy to use and program. I like that you can set the combination yourself. This is very helpful for children who cannot remember complex combinations. They are also easy to operate for a child. The do not come with instructions on how to set the combination, but the original product link in amazon explains that sufficiently. I highly recommend these locks.

Very cheaply made, ok if you want to lock your luggage but I wouldn't trust it for anything else. My kids complain the can't turn the dials because you have to hold it a certain way other wise things don't work right. I bought them for my gym locker but I'm afraid it will break and I won't be able to get my stuff out of it.

Wish I could give negative stars. Lock stuck on the inner side. Won't come back up even if the combination is correct. What a piece of junk. Don't waste your time and money on this and buy it from a better well known brand.

I am using this in the gym lockers for the past 3 weeks without any issues.

Movement is stiff, but operates fine. Fairly priced. It would have been better if numbers had a contrasting color.

There is no "click" when in place, makes the lock feel a little flimsy. Other than that, works as expected.
