Worked perfectly.

These are pretty much like what you would get at your local hardware store, at a fraction of the price. You may want to coat with a little lube before installing, to help the worm gear mesh a little easier. They are mildly magnetic, but regardless seem to be stainless steel. Definitely would buy again.

Two areas where they are tough to screw them down. But they’re cheap and work…so.

These are truly stainless steel and have an American 1/4" screw head!

These are good hose clamps. Max diameter is a true 1-3/4" and will sinch-down to 3/4" as rated.I use these on 250psi polyethylene irrigation pipe (HDPE) for 1" and 1-1/2" pipe. Due note that the 1" pipe is IPS (which measures the INSIDE diameter, resulting in a pipe that's about 1-1/4" across). While the 1-1/2" poly pipe is sized via CTS (copper-pipe-stnd), which measures from the OUTSIDE of the pipe (meaning the inside diameter is much smaller... yeah, ya gotta be careful when buying poly pipe to be sure you're getting what you asked for!). If you have 250psi 1-1/2" poly pipe that is sized in IPS... these clamps are too small.

Just because it could not be used for my intended purpose does not mean they are not a high quality item. As far as I'm concerned there is good of a item as I could have asked for. I just could not use it for what I was hoping to use it for.

#72, 3-5 in. 76-127mm clamps .I have ordered these multiple times (and will do so again) because my soft rubber pipe coupler project can get by with the lower quality. Having said this, the band is at minimum thickness, it will crossthread easily and if you open the clamp up, the screw will fall out and it resists starting straight. After 'tight', don't give it any extra or it will jump threads for sure. Not Big Box or automotive store quality but horses for courses.
