Just get it. I make a batch with 2 cups of dried peas and I can power through the mixture to create one of these every 10 seconds or so. People love them. The falafels come out consistent, perfect shape, size and level of compression. 9-12 mins in the air fryer with some olive oil spritzed on them. Easy to clean too. Great investment and I use it all the time. Highly recommended.

I wish I'd known about this tool years ago. It works very well, and the falafels don't fall apart while cooking. It is easy to use, and makes falafel shaping a breeze.

Works exceptionally well, makes the perfect sized Falafel balls, worked perfectly especially since I was a complete beginner at making Falafel, priced very well compared to other models I was researching, using it was as simple as press the tool down into the falafel mix scoop and just press down own the slide rod to press the ball out,. Using this tool made the work go quickly and efficiently. The tool being made out of stainless steel definitely helped with the tool being more non-stick.

made uniform falfels. they were tiny, but very cute and fit in our small deep fryer, which is good. They made the process much faster than scoops, measuring spoons or by hand. Semi-spring loaded....helped a little, but thought it would push the food out after filled...you have to help push it a little....but most of them came out perfectly. Also, the handle is very short. it is a good product if you are looking for small falafels. i dont trust the metals which are not stainless steel to be food safe. if you wish a stainless steel gadget to make larger balls, other companies make them, but they are quite a bit more expensive. There is a big price gap between them all. we look forward to using this product again. It makes the process kind of fun.

Great little tool at a great little price.

This spoon requires both hands operation to make shape of falafel. If it change internal spring direction, it could be better. Current one require holding lever push up to empty cavity and fill falafel filling, then move to another plate and push down lever to push out filling. All the time pusshinglever up operation required. I hope designer change design, such as spring change to decompession type spring or location change to under lever portion to ease holding lever up so that people can push down lever to push out filling.

Very practical and avoids a mess by not using your hands to create falafel balls. Very easy and fast to use. ALso the falafel patties turn out to be uniform in shape and size.

This tool is the bomb. You just pack the falafel mix in with a spoon and plonk it into the hot oil for a nice, uniform shaped falafel every time. It's all in the wrist: make sure to flip vertically at an exact 90 degree angle to the pot or pan of oil and then release the spring-loaded lever. The scoop is easy to clean and has a nice weight and feel. It's a bit pricey, but it's a sturdy little tool - nice and solid, unlike many of the scoops that are made out of flimsy metal.

Perfect little gadget that easily shapes your falafels. I use to use a couple of spoons which worked but never got that restaurant shape I was looking for. It even comes with a falafel recipe that is by far the best falafel recipe that I’ve ever made. Perfect device for my middle eastern snack.

Seems well made and finished. Made the assembly of felafels very simple and consistent, also for meat balls. Easy to dismantle for cleaning.
