UPDATE after 8 MONTHS of use:This is still an amazing blanket! One corner has come unsewn a little but it hasn't gone any further and one day I might actually get around to fixing it, lol. It still produces a lot of lint in the dryer but my 20+ year old cotton blanket still does as well so it isn't a big deal to me. It is an awesome blanket for ALL seasons!This is an excellent blanket! I have been trying to find another 100% cotton blanket for our bed for a couple of years and was beginning to feel like Goldilocks. One was too heavy, one was too thin (it started falling apart after the initial washing), one did not even remotely fit the width of our king sized bed (even though it was supposed to be for a king sized bed).Finally, I've found a blanket that fits our bed just right and is just the right weight for year round use! Based on some of the reviews that I read about color bleeding, i added white vinegar (which helps to set colors) to the initial wash. I am happy to say that there has been zero color bleeding from the navy blue blanket onto our light blue or mint green sheets. Did we get a boatload of lint from it in the dryer? Absolutely, every time we washed and dried it (4 times now because we have animals and allergies, lol)! We get a bit less each time and quite frankly, I would worry if a cotton blanket DIDN'T produce a lot of lint initially. The 100% cotton blanket we have been using for 15 years still produces SOME lint and it is still as good as new. I was trying to find a blanket just like it actually, just so I could completely change our bedding (sheets AND blankets, for the sake of our allergies) each week without having to wait for the blanket to wash and dry. This blanket meets all our expectations and more! It is super soft and only getting softer with each washing, it is durable and appears to be well made. It isn't quite as light as I was hoping but it is pretty darn close and we have not been getting too hot when we use it (which is an issue when you sleep with a 70 lb pitbull pressed against you, lol).This blanket has impressed me so much that it is going to be a gift for some of our family and friends this Christmas!

I like to sleep in a room that is cooler at night (about 65 degrees). However, I like to have plenty of warm blankets. Polyester and other synthetic bedding makes me sweat. Wool blankets make me itch. And I am paranoid about using electric blankets and having them zap or burn me in my sleep. Therefore, 100% cotton is the fiber of my choice for bedding.After reading some less than complimentary reviews online, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this blanket. The color was nice, and the selection of colors I had to choose from was good. The blanket was neither too heavy nor too light.Some reviewers complained about these blankets shedding when they washed theirs. However, when I washed mine in cold water, as instructed, and then dried it in a commercial dryer on warm, I didn't notice any worse accumulation of lint than I'd had with any other cotton blanket. It did take over an hour to dry completely. I bought a full/queen for my queen mattress, and it fit perfectly with no apparent shrinkage after washing and drying.My sleeping partner complained it was a bit heavy on the feet. Nevertheless, I prefer a bit of weight in my blankets, so I don't feel naked. The texture was not as soft as some blankets I have had, but I really like how tightly it is woven. I think the twill weave of this blanket will keep it from snagging like some others I have used.I normally prefer to spend under $20 for a blanket. However, considering the quality of this one, I feel like I got a good deal. If I need more bedding in the future, I will certainly keep this one in mind.

I have mixed feelings on this blanket.It is the perfect weight. It is soft. I like the fabric. It is very comfortable.I followed the instructions and washed it before using it and ended up washing it once more because of all the LINT in the dryer. (Wash this only with other blankets)It did shrink a bit but I expected that for a 100% cotton blanket.It's not quite long enough. (barely covers the length of the bed)Overall, I like the blanket. I think the lint issue will lesson over time. I wish it was a bit longer but it worked just fine and stayed in place and felt very nice and comfortable.

this is a very nice throw/blanket. It has a decent a weight to it and its warm. Its fairly thick as you can see in one of the pictures i posted where i held it up against the light. Would i buy again,yes i would

Me gustó que tiene un tejido lo suficientemente cerrado como para evitar que se enganche y se le salgan las hebras. Pero no es tan cerrado que sea caliente. Para dormir a gusto en clima templado. No es pesada. El color blanco esta muy bonito, tiene un ligero brillo que hace lucir la colcha.Al colchón king size que tiene cojineta (de los altos) le quedó perfecto, lo cubre completo.Falta lavarla al principio para quitarle el olor a tejido nuevo.Precio muy bueno para la calidad.Muy Satisfecho.

I ordered a King in navy as my Queen bed sits quite high, the King fits it perfect! I will use this all spring/summer as my bedspread, 100% cotton works well for that time of year. Washed it right away in cold water and dried it on low temperature, it came out of the dryer perfectly, no wrinkles or shrinkage. Love it so far! :)
