Multipet Loofa Dog 18" Plush Dog Toy, Colors May Vary 1 ea ( Pack of 2)

My dogs were excited to get these toys and played happily. Then about 25 minutes later I see my 'chewer' having trouble breathing. It turns out the larger squeaker is wrapped up in a Saran Wrap/Plastic Wrap material that was inhaled by her and must have formed a barrier over her windpipe. She could not dislodge it because she couldn't get any air in to cough, etc. I was able to reach in and pull it out...but I shudder to think what might have happened had I been out of the room. Initially I couldn't figure oIt was only after I took the second toy apart (that belonged to my non-chewer pup) that I saw the thin plastic film encasing the squeaker.Very dangerous.I expected my dog to destroy it in minutes..that is just who she is. I did not expect it to endanger her life.The price is cheap...but it isn't worth it. Both went into the trash.

First of all, I’d like to mention that my Chihuahua loved playing with this toy....however it only lasted for a couple of days before it came apart.Ripped apart right away and stuffing and plastic bag that was inside came out. Why is there a plastic bag in a dogs chew toy?!?! He could have choked! Very disappointed that this wasn’t considered.....

So I've come to believe that the success of a dog toy depends about 30% on how well the toy is made and about 70% on what your dog is into. If your dog likes to cuddle, chase, nibble, hump, toss around and shake their toys, then this toy is pretty great, as dog toys go. They are pretty big, made of reasonably sturdy material for those purposes and have a couple of different squeakers inside to make it interesting. They're also really inexpensive.If, however, your dogs are like mine and like to shred, disembowel, play tug-o-war with, and basically maim their toys into unrecognizable piles of garbage, then this toy is like all the other plushy, stuffed, squeaky toys on the planet and will not stand a chance of survival for longer than a few minutes. I have two pitties and they LOVE stuffed toys. I mean, LOVE THEM. But I have come to terms with the fact that no stuffed toy will survive in my house for more than a few minutes and I will be picking up stuffing and bits of cloth until they depart this earth (and probably for months after that - it's EVERYWHERE).That being said, they had a blast annihilating these toys. I bought four, gave them two tonight, and 11 minutes and 35 seconds later was picking up the remains.....and that's with my kids and I making them "leave it" periodically so we could throw them and make them fetch a few times. I'd say it was a waste of money except I can see how much the pups enjoy playing with stuffed toys and they don't play as enthusiastically with ropes or Kong rings or anything else. So, for $7 on a Thursday night, we all get some great entertainment, even if it doesn't last long.There are worse things to spend your money on.

I don’t know why my puppy loves this toy out of all of his things so much. He is only 1.8lbs of fluff and prefers this toy over all others. It is easy for him to carry and enjoys the noise it makes. This is the perfect toy for a smaller puppy. My baby boy is a chorkie (Chihuahua and Yorkie) mix. I have already purchased another. Can’t wait for it to arrive. Only thing I dislike is not being able to choose the color, otherwise Best Buy for your buck!

--I'm giving it 5 stars because it is a really cute toy that my labs enjoy playing with.--No, of course this will not hold up to those that seek to destroy toys, yet--It is cheap enough (add on price of $1.99) that you could try it out (or buy it to let them shred it)- with supervision.If you buy toys to let them shred, then I think this might be better than going to thrift store and buying a toy because these don't have plastic parts (like eyes and noses) to tear off and swallow.--Light and flexible enough to be tied to a flirt pole, if your dogs likes enrichment activities like that.--Could even be used in other canine enrichment activities- such as end hide and seek, nose work, etcWhatever their play style.. always supervise!My two labs, especially my boy are gentle with stuffies. This is long enough for him to carry in his mouth and/or to enjoy playing a light game of tug of war with his sister. They just run around with it and get silly. Eventually my boy l lays down with it and has it rest across his paws. He is a big fan of taking a toy (or my shoe, or an errant sock) out with him for potty time. We don't always remember to bring it back inside, so the toy is bright enough to see (to find), and cheap enough (if it is forgotten about).The toy is 12", and is light enough to be carried around by little dogs, yet large enough for big dogs to play with. There are squeakers in the length of the body and well as the head. The squeakers make different sounds.If you have a cat that likes to "gut" toys with their back feet, they may like this after it has been rolled in catnip.We get a random color, and mine happened to be be blue.These elongated toys are silly looking, brings a smile to my face to look at it, and it definitely lights up my labs cute faces to play with it. Win win!

my lil misha barkton LOVES her little puppy loofa! She's only 1.5 lbs of fluff, and this toy is about near the same size as her, but its light enough for her to pick up and carry around, or play tug of war with. When she finally rips this yellow one to shreds, I will definitely be buying her another one!!

I figure I should review these since I buy several a year. My dog loves these. Not just loves, like cant function without them. He sucks on their faces like they are pacifiers. Of course that puts a ton of ware on one spot so we have to replace them every few months cause he sucks the fabric till it rips. But they are very good for throwing and fetch. They work great for tugging. And they are affordable enough that if your dog sucks the faces off you can keep a back up supply! Seriously my dog wont even play with toys that look like this. They have to be these exact ones.

Absolute rubbish, lasted roughly 15 minutes before I caught the puppy with the squeaker in his mouth

My girl loved this , but, unfortunately it is not built for play so did not last more than a day!!! waste of money!

Extremely poor quality, also received the dog in beige, wouldn’t have purchased if I knew this was going to be the colour.
