Very Mild- just enough warmth and scent.
As the title says, I was concerned that these may make me nauseous or get too warm.Instead these are my favorite go-to for a really great nap or just to drift asleep peacefully. They’re especially comforting and relaxing to use during travel or after a lack of sleep or lots of eye strain. They work similarly to hot hands, which I’ve had get WAY too warm in the past, especially if they had been on my eyes?? It wasn’t a concern with the masks at all. The breathability of them regulates the temperature well and disperses the light scent just enough to feel like you’re being pampered. The scent also doesn’t seem entirely natural (I’m not sure?), but still doesn’t at all irritate my skin or give me a headache in any way. It’s in no way “offensive” or overwhelming, in my experience. Some other concerns I had that didn’t come to fruition, for me:- I was concerned that the ear loops would be uncomfortable or not work well. They work fantastically, and feel way less constricting than any given COVID mask. They’re made out of a strong but very soft, thin, stretchy material. Barely feel it at all.-I was also concerned these wouldn’t actually block light very well. They aren’t the BEST eye masks I’ve had for that specifically, but they’re pretty good for single use. They flex pretty well to fit to your face and the warming contents help fill the gaps around my eyes.

Very convenient & work great
At first I was not sure if I liked these eye masks, as they didn't seem to get warm enough the first time. I've compared them to another eye mask I own, and looked up the temperature they should safely be, and they DO get warm enough. You wouldn't want them so warm that they're unsafe for eyes. They're very convenient in that they're already prepackaged and you can just grab one to use without having to heat it up, like the reusable eye masks I had been using, which are always hard to get the to the temp (warm enough, but not unsafely hot). The reusable masks also need to be cleaned after every use (or use some type of barrier sheet), but these are so much more convenient and you can just pull out a fresh, clean mask each time. They seem a little flimsy, but if they're disposable, you wouldn't want to spend more on a more durable item. They work fine for a single use, and stayed on my face well. Very relaxing on the eyes, and they say that heated eye masks are supposed to help with clogged eye glands and blepharitis.I tried the unscented because I didn't want any type of fragrance to bother my sensitive eyes.

Really nice to help you get a good night's sleep, won't bother allergies
I like that these last for 45+ minutes. I tried the KAO ones from Japan, and don't get me wrong those are great. But, the material they are made from is quite loose and I've found that it tickles my nose and bothers me while I sleep. And I think that that irritates my allergies because then I sneeze. I also think the heat one those from KAO is less minutes, so it's too quick. So far, I've tried 3 different brands of eye steam mask, this one, the KAO and another Chinese one. Of those 3, I prefer this one the most.I've used the unscented which I prefer, the lavender and rose.I prefer this one for sizing, length of time for the heat, the materials that don't fray on the nose area, and that because it's disposable it's very clean and hygienic.I use it nightly!

Sinus comfort, eye soothing warmth. BUT no 'lavender scent' in these.
The good: It warms up in about 60-90 seconds and lasts at least 30 minutes.Comforts tired sinuses and soothes dry eyes. The bad:1. First time use confusing, the ear strings are not noticeable as such. You have to rip off the tissue layer on top of the eye pads and stretch it out, only then does it resemble 'ears strings'2. I asked for the lavender for the aromatherapy benefit. These appear to be the unscented version .Tiny print on the box says 'lavender'. But print on individual packet only says ''natural essential oils etc.''Possibilities: unscented sachets packed in the 'lavender' box.?Maybe the product used to contain lavender but no longer does?I could 'return' them as not being lavender, but if i request the actual lavender there's no guarantee ?

Even with problems of the product from time to time, it is still worth trying.
When it works, it is really wonderful - the heat is just right, and rose smell is just right. When it doesn't work, which seems happens more often in recent purchase, the heat goes away in a short period of time, and there is no rose smell at all.

Peaceful sleeping mask
After having some eye twitching and dry eyes my optometrist recommended that I try a steaming mask. I received something similar as a gift from Japan and this was exactly the same as what I was looking for! I love that it’s one time use so you can bring it on travels very easily. I have no idea how it works but it’s like magic how it starts to heat up. I gave a few to some family members and they were able to sleep well using these masks!!
