Highly recommend
I buy these for my mother-in-law who has incintinence that can range from a little dribble to full loss of bladder control. We initially tried "depends for women - maximum absorbency - size XL" and while those are just fine for the dribble days, they do NOT contain large amounts of liquid and leak very easily. I have even had them fall apart coming off and the liquid absorbing gel inside got all over the floor and it was a mess to clean up! I initially only bought one bag of these abena anti-flex air to try bc they are more expensive, but we haven't had a single accident since switching so I will be sticking with these.PROS:1) 2 levels of absorbency and the most absorbent I have found on the market and they seem to absorb fast (the letter/number combo on the bag tells you the size & absorbency. ex.: L1 is large - level one aka "plus" which absorbs about 34oz of liquidL3 is large - level 3 aka "extra" which absorbs about 74oz of liquid2) plenty of elastic to keep these pants up even when substantially wet and the pull up style is easier to wear for someone who still uses the bathroom whenever possible. Although difficult to change when soiled bc you have to remove your shoes, pants, etc., I still find it easier than putting a traditional "tab style" underpant on an adult who is standing up.3) elastic leg cuffs prevent leaks...even watery bowel movements. Now that does not mean you've got all the time in the world and I don't know how well they would hold up if you sat down like that, but they'll hold long enough to make it to the bathroom without a huge mess. ALSO these have tear away sides to make cleanup easier and an extra tape tab stuck to the back to tape the diaper shut with after rolling it up.4) wetness indicator is very useful so you can see exactly where the undergarment is wet.5) my MIL had experienced some rashes and skin irritation while using the "depends" brand. That has cleared up since using the abena abri-flex air. These seem to keep the moisture away from her skin better and I don't notice any odor even when I know she needs to change.CONS:1) the are kinda pricey at $1.41 each (depends were about $0.65). We do use less of these bc they are more absorbent and hold up better so it's not too bad.2) they can be hard to open... it's like trying to open those little plastic bags in the produce dept! The trick is to open them from the leg hole and stick your hand through. Easy enough for me, but my MIL has Alzheimer's and can't remember so she's always complaining they're stuck :/ and she finds it frustrating.3) these do have a snugger fit bc of all the elastic so they are a little harder to pull up. On the one hand, that's what makes them stay up even when wet, but on the other, it's def harder for someone with dexterity, balance or flexibility issues to pull them all the way up. I have not had them tear while putting them on though which is good. All in all, if you can afford these slightly more expensive underpants, I would highly recommend them! Less accidents means less changing & less laundry for me and more independence and less embarrassment for my MIL. Win win :)

better than the best USA made ones...
There's nothing more embarrassing than having to ask "where do you keep the condoms" than maybe "where do you keep the adult incontinence diapers?" So some stores, like Fred Meyer, now have a sign for that aisle, to prevent the inevitable, "CAN I HELP YOU?" followed by loud blast of rack roaring vibes while customer service tells the whole store and all the customers in it what AISLE THE ADULT DIAPERS ARE ON. Incontinence sounds so much more medical. It IS actually a medical supply, but don't hold your breath for MediCare to pay.So, why buy this one and pay more? Because it lasts twice as long, does not get wet or leak. You end up taking it off because it's been awhile...not because there is anything wrong with the diaper. Also, it's softer and it molds itself to your body, looking and feeling more like, well, panties, which is what it is shaped as.Then they even provide this little tape band-aid thingie you can stick on your toilet and when you're "done" roll it up in a tight sanitary roll and tape it shut. You might not notice it, it took me awhile, it's a grey tabbie that pulls out, but it helps and no other diaper (adult or baby) has it. Abena thinks of everything, without having to make an embarrassing call to them to ask...um er...what do i do when it ________???Update April 2012...seller says they are also chlorine free, that is a claim no other adult diaper maker can or does make, so Go Denmark! (Danish company makes these).Gerson + Wells Press + Organics-to-you have helped me take off 10# of flab to date, and result for some reason is I have a bit less incontinence. So dieting does help with this embarrassing problem. It helps a great deal to have a pack of these if you're going to do a liver cleanse, coffee enema, etc. and you're not home all day doing it. Even if you are, it's a great help. There is one company I did locate who makes adult cloth diapers. I hope now I can wean off diapers and not have to buy cloth ones...in any event, you're not alone if you're reading this. I am "only" 53, have required these for 2 years, but looking for ways to improve health. There are a great many natural health and alternative health customer reviews on amazon.com now for readers and customers to self-educate. Of course, you do have to try it to test the product and the review. I encourage you to do that, start with one package, then see if a case is cheaper, normally it is as cheap as Costco wholesale to purchase by the case on amazon.com as a prime member, in my experience over the years. Plus, no embarrassing audio messages are blasted over any PA!

Higher coverage in the back
This is for my 96 years old mother who is wheelchair bonded. These covers slightly higher in the back than the Tena I used to buy, but certainly is more expensive in comparison..

An excellent daytime option for incontinence
I bought these because I have been searching for the best pull-up adult diaper and this diaper was highly rated. As a man, most pull-up adult diapers leave much to be desired because of the gaps and placement of elastics (those who know, know). The Abena Special fits more like a “boxer brief”, which means there are no gaps around the legs. Additionally, there is elastic banding from top to bottom, which keeps everything contained- even with much activity. They are very comfortable, soft inside with leak cuffs around the leg.I recommend these diapers as a daytime product for anyone who has light to moderate incontinence or leaks but can make it to a restroom before the bladder has completely emptied. I would not suggest these diapers to those with severe incontinence or as an overnight diaper for anyone whose incontinence is anything more than “light.” If you know your incontinence level well and use the product according to its intended level of protection, you will NOT be disappointed.

Good overnight diapers
The only diapers we’ve tried that keep the bed dry at night. Very good absorbency.

Padding should extend further
My husband uses these, daytime and nighttime. They are the best we've found, and the best ones that fit those with thinner legs. But for a man who sleeps on his side or side/back, they need more padding in hips and around to sides and up towards waist, or they leak.

Really good quality
Great quality. Even when my dad spends long hours at the doctor’s office there are no leaks.

Good Product
I bought it for my 80 year mother and according to her product works well. Since then I have placed several more orders.

Best Pullup out there
These hug the body very tight around the entire pant. Great for sports or being active in general. While these are def on the expensive side, I would say they are worth it when coverage is important.

many kinds and this one is hands down the best I have found both for absorbency amd comfort
I have tried many, many kinds and this one is hands down the best I have found both for absorbency amd comfort.. He weighs 170 lbs. and totally incontinent, he wore the medium for awhile and they were good but when i tried the large it was even better. Still have not figured out what the little plastic tag on the outer back which it a little sharp and not meant to come off??? Could do without it.

Bien
La culotte est confortable, l'absorption est juste correct, pas trop ni trop peut. Un des défauts c'est que l'avant et l'arrière sont difficilement reconnaissable. Convient de jour comme de nuit.
