I really like this lamp. My husband got the one-bulb version of this lamp a while ago and I wanted something similar but taller. Luckily, the two-bulb version is taller, so I got it. Now we match!What I like about this lamp is the sturdy construction. The metal legs appear securely welded to the substantial base. And though the lampshades are just painted glass, they came crack free and create a warm glow from any sort of bulb you might use. There are imperfections in the glass itself, but I think that's the point (or you get what you pay for).The cost was reasonable for the quality. I would have liked a more secure connection between the bulb socket and the lamp itself, but overall I'm happy with this purchase.(For the record, the first time the lamp arrived, there were no lampshades in the box. I promptly returned it and got another one with lampshades.)

I was immediately struck by the style of this lamp (as well as its one bulb sibling). On that front, the product image speaks for itself--either you find it attractive or not. There are several things that the images don't show, however. First, although it may at first glance appear to be metal, the body of the lamp is a dark wood. Second, the lamp looks like it could be unstable, but the base is much heavier than the rest of it, meaning its center of gravity is low and it remains very stable--I've never been worried it was going to tip over. Third, the cord emerges out of one of the long sides of the rectangular base, so this may affect how you would want to place it.I really like this lamp--I can't say love, not for a lamp--but there are three potential caveats. First, it is not especially bright, even with two 100 watt bulbs, as the glass lampshades seem to consume a good chunk of the bulb's light. Second, that light is distinctly amber in color. It's almost feels like the room is being lit by torches (albeit without any flickering flames). Third, the switch for the lamp is on the cord, which feels awkward; as a result, the lamp is probably best suited for rooms where it can be plugged into an electrical outlet controlled by a switch. (The lamp's switch also controls both bulbs simultaneously, so there's no way to turn just one of the bulbs on.)Overall, I am very happy with this lamp. If you like the style and don't find any of the caveats above to be a problem, I highly recommend it.

I think it looks nice. The base isn't quite as heavy as I expected. The glass shade is nice. I bought a "use - like new" and am very pleased with what I got for the money I spent. Had I paid full price I might feel differently or maybe not, I do like how it looks and the warm light it gives off.

Wasn’t sure about this lamp before I ordered, I actually wanted the double lamp but unfortunately, as happens often on Amazon, a company purchased the remaining stock on hand and are now selling them for 3-4 times the original price so I went with the single. The lamp is quite sturdy and with the proper watt bulb creates the ambiance I wanted to brighten up this area without making it harsh. The base is heavy so tipping isn’t an issue even when my 17lb cat jumps up there to mess with the mini Buddhas. You could reasonably put a phone charger pad on the base as there is plenty of room for one, but I’m using the light more for aesthetics and mood lighting more than basic functionality. Everything was packaged extremely well and secure. I absolutely love this lamp!

The lamp look good but it or it's single bulb brother aren't appropriate if you're looking to light a room. The shades have a yellow cast and do not diffuse the light that much so if you put a very bright bulb in it two things happen:1. Your room is bathed in yellowish light (not bad but might not be your thing)2. You'll have to deal with a harsh glare.About the best I can deal with in these is a 60W incandescent, 40W is better.

I really love the unique design of these lamps - I bought two - they are very well made except for the wiring - it is absolutely deplorable and lousy wiring is obviously not a great feature for a light fixture! When I picked these lamps up across the border in the USA, it was apparent that one of the boxes had been opened and most likely had been previously returned by another customer (probably someone who was unhappy because the lamp didn't work and ... HELLO... if that's the case, then why send it out again to another customer???) - and so when I returned home I discovered that one of the lamps wasn't working. I didn't feel like repackaging it and driving back across the border to return it to Arcadian (?) in California, and so I asked a handyman friend to take a look and see if he could fix it for me - the wires had shorted out - he was able to (with some difficulty) repair the lamp by soldering a wire where one had broken off inside - I just hope I'll be be able to enjoy these lamps without any further problems. Note to anyone considering buying these lamps - just pass them by and good luck to you finding something else that you like.

I really like the quality of this lamp. It's very heavy and substantial, and has a subtle elegance I don't often see in this price range. What a good deal!I ordered only one at first because I wasn't sure if it would look good in my bedroom. It looks terrific, so I'm going to order another one for the other side of the bed.I will keep my fingers crossed that it makes it here intact. Unfortunately, the first shipment arrived with the shade in shards, but the replacement made it through the shipping process in one piece. And even with super saver shipping, it arrived the next week.

Beautiful lamp. Well packed, arrived promptly. I have most of the Kenroy Wright collection now. Terrific look for contemporary or transitional - Mission, Craftsman or if, like me, your focus is Asian influence. I have never had a single issue with shipping, packaging, breakage or defect. Installation of hard-wired fixtures is pretty straightforward, and assembly of lamps is simple.Specific to this lamp, check the pic. It's beautiful.

We've added this table/dresser lamp to our bedroom to go with a pair of bedside lamps (Kenroy Home 32121ORB Gemini Table Lamp Set, 2-Pack). We particularly like the interesting design. The solid nature of the lamp is good. Kenroy (employee owned) customer service was very helpful.
