protects finger and you don't know it's there
I've been looking for the perfect thimble for a long time. Metal ones aren't flexible enough and silicon ones make your finger sweat. The other leather ones I've tried would either fall off when sewing or have metal inserts causing ridges of leather that your thread would catch on. This one stays on, feels comfortable, is flexible so you can still manipulate your needle and doesn't catch on the thread. I first ordered a large because that's what I usually wear, but I had to send it back and get a medium. The medium fits perfectly.

My favorite thimble: Comfortable and effective
I bind the quilts I make and this is my favorite thimble for doing so. I already had one but bought this one JUST IN CASE. I was afraid I'd misplace the old one and wanted to be sure I had another. As you can tell from this, I love this thimble! One great feature is that it never falls off my finger. Other thimbles are either very tight or they fall off constantly which is really annoying. This one is very comfortable and it stays on.
