Great playing, great sounding, great looking, hardware feels a wee bit cheap
Loved this guitar the moment I unboxed it. It is both fun to play and beautiful-looking. I went with Fiesta Red, and I'm very happy I did, but still it was an agonizing decision to choose it over the ocean turquoise (with the white/gold being unavailable).The build quality on this MIK guitar is quite good. I'm a little less impressed with the hardware. Maybe it's more durable than it looks, but the pickup switch in center position, for example, has a rattly looseness, along with a loose pickup jack that's not so easy to re-tighten. Kinda sends a vibe of cheapness throughout the rest of the hardware. That said, I can report that I'm using the Bigsby a fair amount and it doesn't seem to knock it out of tune.
