Solid flow and doesn’t block up. Poorly balanced so needs standing on a solid feature underwater, in the shallows (can’t deal with solids). Don’t need to constantly clean out like a solids filter but if you want crystal clear water to the bottom of a koi pond this is not for you. It’s very good for other less intense ponds.Love the moveable fountain head - very smart idea and as with Laguna generally, really reliable product so recommend for decorative ponds.

I have used these pumps for quite a while, the problem is the back bush for the impeller is plastic and wears quickly. So they don’t last the test of time.

Does what it says. Only problem was that it moved every time we switched it on so had to get in pond to move it back. Is now on all the time so it stays put.

First pump arrived with broken outer case so sent it back and requested a replacement, the replacement arrived and guess what! another broken case. Sent pump back and requested a refund this time

For UK market supposed to be no plug i.e. should have been bare-wired. I nearly sent it back, however I solved that hiccup by buying a travel adaptor and plugging it into a circuit breaker in the garage. If that makes sense anyway it's working fine and the fish, frogs and water vole are happy. All good.
