The product itself is great. It solved the problem of getting the back of my watch off and it was very good value.However, I have knocked a point off for the ridiculous packaging (see photo). A tiny box of 7x4x1cm inside a huge box of 23x16x11cm. It would have fitted inside a little envelope. Come on Amazon - you have to get to grips with this packaging wastage!

Don’t hesitate just get it ! After watching my husband huff and puff for at least 3 hours and stomp around in frustration trying all the hacks off YouTube to no avail,this gadget unscrewed it in seconds ,ordered and came within 48 hours!!Job well done!

I Ordered this adjustable watch back opener to replace the battery for my screw back watch it worked great.Made easy work by adjusting the two pins to the slots on the back of the watch just took my time and care so no damage was done.Saved over £25 for a £1.30 battery alone! also replaced the seal ring for the watch while had the back off easy job and repair on a expensive watch that costs ££ to be sent of or wait for it to be fixed only attempt it work if you confident but easy repair.

Was dubious when this turned up because I thought the pins were too small to do the job. However when I tried it the adjustment worked well and it was easy to unscrew the watch back, replace the battery then tighten it up again using the tool.Wish I'd had one years ago - would have saved some expensive trips to the Jewellers.

Adjusted it correctly, held watch securely….. the plastic case simply cracked and broke out on the very first twist. As an engineer I question the design as the unit takes the force on a fairly slim plastic moulding which is not up to the job. May work on watches that require minimal torque to open.

Tried it on 2 watches, a Fossil and a Pulsar, and indeed it's easy to use, but also useless.The "strong stainless steel" is actually plastic and it doesn't have the strength to open anything as its case comes apart when trying to twist the watch's back.Read the description again and again and only strong stainless and stainles steel is mentioned, it says nothing about plastic.Bottom line, it all broke before opening anything.

Perfect! With this I no longer have to pay £6+ to get new watch batteries fitted. It's now only a £1 for a good watch battery and I can fit it myself. Works perfectly and fully adjustable.

Used this to change the battery in a fairly small, ladies watch. It is fiddly to use and to get the prongs at the exact distance apart as required, but it did the job in the end and will no doubt pay for itself in time by saving having to go to a jewellers to change the battery.
