I paid the extra money and got a ScanPan brand lid for my small frying pan. I’m glad I spent the extra money for a perfect fit and excellent quality. I have now gone all ScanPan with three frying pans, one sauté pan, and a large square skillet. This is the first nonstick pan brand that retains its nonstick feature long term. All the rest that I’ve tried over the years work well for a few months at the most. I’ve been using some of my ScanPans for well over a year, and the nonstick coating is still doing the job. The heat distribution and retention is outstanding as well.

I broke the lid from the pan. The new one is a perfect fit!

I love the pan and I needed a top but this doesn't easily fit onto the pan... I wrote to the company and didn't receive a response... disappointing

It says it fits perfect but it don't, I put this on my pan and it's not snug like they say,if you accidentally hit it it will fall off thats why I gave it a 4 star

I bought this lid as a replacement for glass lid for the 11" ScanPan that we purchased from Williams/Sonoma. For totally unexplainable reason, the original lid simply shattered while siting on top of the pan on a counter. I know that's hard to believe but we heard a noise, when to investigate, and found it completely shattered. We were heartbroken because this ScanPan is truly one of the best pieces of cookware we have EVER purchased. Williams/Sonoma no longer carries this pan. I can't imagine why. So, I did some searching, found this ScanPan Classic 11" Glass Cover, took a chance and bought it. I am overjoyed to report that this lid is a PERFECT FIT!!!!!If others have had the same experience and are looking for a replacement lid, do not hesitate. This one FITS!! I hope this helps...

Really like how this fits my scanpan and another open pan that's only marginally smaller than the scanpan lid. I have run it through the dishwasher several times and so far it hasn't collected moisture where the knob connects. I purchased some universal lids that were disappointing. They didn't create a seal and if I used the back burners on my freestanding range it would bump against the back of the range. This lid solves that space problem and makes a better seal. The only snag is the size of the knob, it gets caught in the space dividers of the lid holder I use if I don't take them out just so.

I got such a deal on the 11 inch Scanpan CTx that I was glad to pay so much for a glass lid.The ser is heavy duty and hopefully state of the art.

First of all, let me say that I really like Scanpan. All of my frying pan purchases in the past 5 or so years have been Scanpan as I slowly displace older pans. I've also contacted them for warranty service on a different pan, and they came through with shining colors! The 10-1/4 inch Scanpan fry pan that I use for making breakfast every day did not come with a lid, so adding one for steaming eggs and vegetable was a must. This particular lid is very nice and I use it on my Scanpan fry pans as well as my older Calphalon pots. The picture doesn't show it, but there is a Scanpan logo in black lettering on the glass of the lid. The glass has a slightly greenish hue to it, but isn't noticeable during daily use. The metal rim around the edge extends from the top lip around the bottom of the glass and then ends with a small lip that sits in the pan for a good seal. The rim seems to be quite strong and able to protect the glass from minor incidents. The plastic handle is a nice size and non-conductive so I don't burn my hand when removing the lid from a hot pan or pot. It also has four small, but unobtrusive vents for letting steam out. Overall, a nice lid that I plan to use for many years to come.

I have a bad habit of bouncing my glass Scanpan lids on my quarry tile kitchen floor and these replacement lids are great. Perfect fit and the same as the original.

So this lid was recommended by Amazon for the 8" Scanpan frying pan. As the picture shows it doesn't fit! It is a beautiful lid and we would have kept it BUT it doesn't fit. So we returned it. Make sure, when you buy this lid, it is the correct size for your pot/frying pan and DON'T trust the recommendation out of hand...verify!

Great lids that we have been without for years, and we are so delighted to have them back. There is no vent hole on the top, just fyi, but that didn't stop us. H

Ce couvercle est bien conçu. Le bouton ne chauffe pas, donc pratique. L eau ne s accumule pas sous le bouton, lors du lavage (j ai jette un que j avais a cause de ça) : entretien facile et le couvercle n est pas lourd. Il n y a pas de trou pour la vapeur sur le couvercle (pas important pour moi), le cercle en inox qui entoure le verre est de belle qualite avec une finition parfaite. Et le couvercle fait pile 28 cm.

Perfect for my pan which did not have a lid.
