Once you FINALLY get the seal pulled back and nuke this meal it's AWESOME! The taste is delicious, the quality and flavor are wonderful and the price is extremely reasonable. I'm stocking up on these for those days when I just don't feel like cooking.

I was expecting mediocrity but was surprised at just how yum these were. I was expecting something along the same class as a cup o'noodle just a bit more variety in flavor and texture. These are actually far better than that. The rice is pretty good for microwave rice. The curry wasn't restaurant grade or home made grade but it could definitely compete in the leftovers grade. Where it shined was the textures; the crunch of the (water chestnuts?) was great. The curry itself was not too spicy (+/-?) and in adequate proportion to the rice. The portion size was good for a large snack/quick lunch. I guess the only dull side was the price per portion when comparing to the previously mentioned cup o'noodle. This doesn't break my bank but if you are going purely by fill per dollar, stick to the pot noodles. If your dignity requires some variety (read: flavor) than give this a try.

I’d personally rate the taste of this item as a B+. The price is right and that was a big factor in my trying it. No regrets. I like the ingredients although the carb count is higher than I’d prefer. Easy to prepare. I tasted it after nuking it and decided to add some fire-roasted tomatoes and a little of their juice. A little black pepper and instant meal. Will order more.

I like the shelf stability and the flavor. But honestly, the rice ruins it. Very chewy, dry, and tastes like cardboard. Save yourself the trouble and just order the packets and make your own rice.

The Mediterranean bowl is awful, the texture and taste are hard for me to stomach even at my hungriest. I recommend these to no one.They almost taste like cardboard and lime juice, the garbanzo beans are way too firm.The only plus is easy to transport and easy to heat up

This is one of my subscribe & save items. I first purchased it to use as a lunch option while I was working. Just grab the bowl in the morning & take it with me either in my ice chest or just as it is. I am now retired, but I still order it since it is good, well, for any meal - lunch - dinner - or breakfast.Like I mentioned above, heat it up in microwave, eat at room temperature or put bowl in fridge either with dressing mixed in or added when ready to eat and it's a good meal.The main thing with this is convenience - it's ready to eat just add dressing.Now let's look at the ingredients, no added high-fructose corn syrup!!! & everything else is recognizable. The main source of protein is the various beans, + chickpeas & couscous. High fiber meal, & fiber is what everybody needs in a very tasty meal.

I like them, a tasty treat to me.

Surprisingly this lacks any heart, or flavor you might expect from "Indian" food. I had to add some habanero pepper flakes to pump it up. That being said, the rice and the beans were well cooked and nice despite the lack of spice. Think along the lines of Popeyes rice and beans for 4 times the cost.
