Nice entry level binoculars made well, nice carrying case. Excellent for birding. I would definitely get a sturdier more comfortable neck strap.

Excellent mechanically. At a dark astronomy site, you can't tell these from expensive glass. In town with streetlights, stray light will splash across your view. Even the sunset will through glare across the view if you look within 30 degrees of it. All binoculars show stray light near streetlights, but these show it more than my $110 Nikon Aculons. That is their only flaw, though. They are mechanically and optically great otherwise. I've gotten many people to look at them during astronomy outreach, and all were impressed. They are as advertised. For $25 shipped, buy them and don't worry about breaking them.

Easy to get good results. I use them for amateur astronomy, they are quite good for that purpose. As with any binocular it is difficult to hold steady without a tripod. Amazing how many stars are visible that I can't see without them. The eyepiece adjustment for people with glasses is not as sturdy as I would like, but functional.

I purchased these to see if I could hold them better than my 10x50 I currently own and having trouble with holding them still while trying to focus or look at anything in the distance. Yes these are a very good purchase and are well made. I would recommend these to anyone.

We used these binos on safari in Africa. They worked great for viewing birds to elephants.

I tried several types- more expensive and less, and these are awesome. I can adjust so I see no dark spots, the close and distant features work well beyond others I tried. For the money - trust me, you can't get better than these. They are a tad heavier than the pocket type of course - but nothing that should stop you from trying them. I would encourage anyone on the fence to go for it. I'm sure glad I did

私は双眼鏡を使うのが初めてではありませんが、多くの双眼鏡を見比べたことがあるわけではないので、光学性能の良し悪しは正直よくわかりません。 なので作りについての報告のみしたいと思います。 安いのでしょうがないですが、やっぱり見た目は安っぽいです。でも今どきの双眼鏡は高級品も外装は樹脂やゴムなので大差ないかもしれません。もちろんMade in Chinaです。 プリズムボックスとそれを繋ぐアームは一体構造でアルミ製です。しかし接眼レンズが付いているアームはプラスチック製です。接眼レンズを押したときのたわみは金属製より大きいです。たわめば当然ピントがズレます。 しかしメリットもあります。金属だと強い力が掛かって曲がったら曲がったきりですが、プラなら元に戻ります。一長一短ですね。 ピントリングの回転は柔らかめかもしれません。もう少し固くてもいい気がします。 右の接眼レンズに付いてる視度調整リングと左右を繋ぐヒンジの回転はしっかり固く、簡単にズレてしまうようなことはありません。これは良い。 目当てはメガネ使用時は折りたたむタイプのゴム製で、接眼レンズ枠をすっぽり覆う形で被せてあります。 これにはちょっとお粗末なところがあります。右の目当てには視度調整のための「＋ 0 -」という印があり、アームには指標があるのですが、なんとその目当てが接眼レンズ枠に固定されていずヌルヌルとエンドレスで回ってしまうのです！それじゃ意味が無い！印が無くても調整に支障無いとはいえ、お粗末すぎます。 ゴムを少しめくってみたら外せそうだったので外してみて理由が分かりました。一応接着剤らしきものが塗ってあるのですが、極悪品質でヌルヌルベタベタしてるだけで全く接着できていなかったのです！ありえない！左右共です。さすがの中華クオリティ(笑)。 レンズはマルチコートを謳っていますが、全ての面にコーティングしてるわけではないようで、白く明るい反射が見えます。プリズムは無コートです。鏡筒内の内面反射対策もあまりなされていないようで、なんと白い接着剤が使われていたりします。黒い接着剤でもコスト変わらないでしょうに。 プリズムがローコストなBK7だと射出瞳がケラレると言われます。本機は確かにケラレが確認できますが、極わずかです。これならほとんど影響無いのではないでしょうか。 仕様表にはWater Resistantとありますが、IPコードは書いてないのでどの程度かは不明です。おそらく防滴程度ではないでしょうか。窒素封入はありません。 レンズキャップは対物接眼どちらも紛失防止の工夫のないシンプルなキャップ。しかもユルユルですぐ外れる。失くしてくれと言わんばかりのキャップです。 三脚アダプター取り付け部のカバーもネジ留めではなくパチッとはめてあるだけなので、付け外しを繰り返せば緩くなってくると思われますし、小さいのでレンズキャップよりさらに失くしやすいです。 ストラップは幅9mmの平紐という最低限の物。首に食い込むので他の幅広のを付けました。 ケースも安っぽいです。オマケってところ。 取説に日本語はありません。日本の代理店であるアーキサイト社のチラシが入っていて、日本語の取説はウェブサイトでダウンロードできると書いてあるのですが、行ってみたところ本機のような安物の取説はありませんでした(笑)。もっとも取説なんか不要ですが。 本機はエントリークラスなので、上級機よりローコストな作りなのは当然でしょう。なので問題は「この価格としてはどうなのか」ですが、最初に書いた通り私は多くの双眼鏡を見比べたことがあるわけではないので判断できません。セレストロンは天体望遠鏡という専門性の高い世界で有名らしいので、安物とは言え変な物は出さないだろうと思っておくことにします(笑)。 ただし、目当ての接着剤だけは論外ですね。いくら安物でもありえない。

The Celestron 80x40 binocular is very good in quality. It feels heavy in the hands, which gives a solid and premium experience. Build quality is impressive for this price range. When I received it, both lenses were showing slightly different views. After checking online, I found that the big objective lens section might have gotten misbalanced during transportation. I opened the front assembly, adjusted it, and the alignment became perfect. Now both lenses show the same and very clear view, and the performance is excellent. Overall, this is a great product and worth the money. Highly recommended.

I thought it was time to invest in a half decent pair of binoculars to take my rank amateur birdwatching to the next level. After much deliberation I went for these as a well known brand at a decent price (you can pay twice as much elsewhere). Image is good, occasional fringing, focus is crisp and diopter adjustment good. 8x40 is recommended by most in the know as the optimal spec for birdwatching and they have proved to be the case, not too powerful to show up your shakes and light enough to hold up for long periods. Neck strap is a bit thin but I have a guitar strap on order to address that (99p from eBay! ). As many have said, with binoculars there is a law of diminishing returns. Pay twice much as this and you won't get twice the quality of image. Having tried £70 pairs there is a marginal difference but for the occasional user is it worth it? Overall they have to rate 5 stars.

Binóculo excelente, de qualidade, de marca confiável e referência no mercado. Já testei, fiz isso ajustes necessários e fiquei surpreso com a imagem trazida por ele na aproximação. Estava querendo comprar um da mesma marca, mas de 10 x 50, mas graças aos comentários fui convencido a comprar este, de 8 x 40, muito mais leve que o pretendido, e que não deixa a desejar. O valor dele também foi super em conta. No Mercado Livre estava quase o dobro do valor, sorte que eu consegui perceber a tempo. Além disso, ele estava previsto para chegar em 29/08 e chegou hoje, 06/08, em tempo recorde, direto de Miami, Flórida, USA. Estou muito feliz com a minha compra, agora é só explorar esse mundo maravilhoso com ele.
