Incredibly stunning!!!
This is an incredibly stunning sports romance. I was captivated from the very beginning. Hard to Hold is emotionally raw, breathtaking, powerful, and beautifully inspiring. Rush and Lennox have a soul-mate connection that is irresistible. Their chemistry is magnetic and undeniable. Try as they may to resist, they are powerless to stop the fall. The writing is flawless and I felt like I was watching a movie unfold with each turn of the page. The banter was witty and they sparred so well with one another. The push and the pull is so natural. The storyline is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The emotions radiated from the pages. I could feel everything the characters experienced. I laughed, cried so many tears (happy and sad), felt the butterflies, the heart palpitations, every ounce of pain and all the joy. The heartfelt moments stole my breath and the heartbreaking ones shattered my heart. The swoon-worthy moments left me breathless! A powerful and poignant story that I didn’t want to end. The inspirational moments throughout this book left me in awe and will stay with me. I highly recommend reading this book!

Absolutely LOVED this
WOW, talk about a build in intimacy. These two are hot for each other from the moment they meet, but love takes a little longer to happen. While I often struggle with that kind of storyline, Bromberg is such a master at writing those quiet, impactful moments of intimacy that this was compelling from start to finish. It’s a slow emotional burn, but there are these little tender moments along the way that really make the story shine. I loved the level of tension, the crackling chemistry, and the intense connection between these two. It’s angsty and steamy, emotional and gripping, and an engrossing read from the first page to the last. The story follows Rush, a British soccer player who is spending some time in the USA following a scandal. He’s accused of sleeping with his teammate’s wife, and no one has taken the time to question whether the British bad boy would do such a thing. When Rush meets Lennox, it’s lust at first sight. They’re two people who use sex to avoid their feelings, and they seem to be the perfect match – at least temporarily. Neither one expects their relationship to develop into anything deeper than lust, but spending time together and seeing so much of themselves in one another changes the dynamic. Now… they just have to figure out what to do about that. After a great start to the series, I was wholly expecting to love this – and I definitely did. Bromberg is SO good at building intimacy, showcasing touches and lingering glances that say more about the relationship than anything else. These two might’ve believed that their connection was only physical, but it was easy to see that there was more there. And I really, really loved Rush. His backstory is heartbreaking (and may be triggering to some), so it was even more gratifying to see him find happiness. I’ll openly admit that Lennox was more difficult for me to connect to; she definitely straddles that fine line between being sexually aware and just completely unprofessional. But that’s all part of the story, and the similarities between these two are what draw them to each other. It’s an intricate dance from start to finish, and I absolutely, wholeheartedly LOVED the back half. I was lucky enough to receive an early copy, and am voluntarily leaving a review of this steamy romance.

Incredible
I love a good romcom with an American and Brit. This was a great story to get lost in and immerse yourself in their world. The fun loving and passionate love these two had was great. Thanks for the escape.♥️

Rush and Lennox are incredible together and I just can't get enough of this wonderful series!
I am in love with this series and this book! Kristy Bromberg has upped her writing game once more with Hard to Hold and I for one, cannot get enough of these Kincaid sisters and the men who claim their hearts. With sister Lennox getting her turn in the spotlight this time around, her free spirit fights hard against the determined businesswoman she has become. But it's that nonconformist way about her that catches the eye of one Rush McKenzie and gives this story a charm that is hard to resist. There is much at play as Lennox and Rush are unexpectedly sharing a house with their friend in common, the utterly delightful and scene-stealing Johnny. Although Rush is hiding out from a scandal in his native Liverpool and Lennox is seemingly hiding away from her father and sisters, these two don't hide much from the other as the sports agent and the star soccer player find an attraction to one another that is all kinds of undeniable. With Rush's seeming misconduct at the heart of this story, I loved how it simultaneously became a discovery for both Rush and Lennox and what they both didn't know they wanted, namely each other. With the witty banter combined with incredibly sexy trysts, these two have more chemistry than they know what to do with. And it's all kinds of explosive and full of heart, which neither ever envisioned.Bromberg carefully crafts a storyline that is both intense and tender. There are poignant scenes in Rush's past that brought a tear to my eye, giving him a vulnerability that was endearing despite the playboy persona he tries to put forth. Watching as Lennox lets down her own guard to help the struggling soccer star battle this out of control situation, I was reminded just how compassionate these Kincaid women are and how much I love seeing them fight for those they love. The entire Kincaid crew shows up when needed with dad Kenyon offering some of the most beautiful moments as he gives Lennox his full support no matter what her decisions might be now and in the future. It's that unconditional love that ultimately drives this series and gives it that extra bit of wonderful I simply adore. What sets this book apart from so many is that Bromberg takes her time without being overly wordy and repetitive. Every scene is necessary and every emotion displayed is spot on and gives me all I need to fall hard for these characters. I could feel every bit of tension, sadness, triumph, and longing as Rush and Lennox maneuver through that crazy little thing called love even when they desperately want to deny otherwise. Time, distance, reputation, and public opinion are no match for the real thing these two have and it's worth every doubt they had to fight from themselves and others as the pages fly by.Hard to Hold is the kind of book that truly has it all and it's a reading experience I wish I could have every time I pick up a new novel. I cannot wait for more from these sisters and happily give Hard to Hold a huge 5+ stars!

Great chemistry, heart-warming characters and great steamy scenes
I loved the evolution of Rush and Lennox. Both were so sexually confident and playful at first (which was really enjoyable to read, sparks flying and all). But, especially as time went on they also saw strengths in each other, particularly in areas where the other felt vulnerable. They brought out the best in each other and seemed to be a truly good match, thrown together in both forced proximity yet professionally complicated circumstances to keep things interesting. Their story was such a pleasure to read, it was such a page turner. And I did mention steamy scenes. SPOILER alert, one involves a sauna and is both literally and figuratively steamy. Despite all their pros, the main con was her home was the US and his the UK. It’s worth reading to find out if they can overcome it.

Good story. I will be reading the next story
Lennox works for her fathers company as a sports agent and she has got herself in a tizz. There is a contract thats up for grabs that her family dont want her to take up but she does not realising what she is getting into. Rush is an English football player laying low because the press have got hold of a story saying he has slept with a teammates wife. He didnt and he isnt getting support from his agent. They both end up staying with the same friend and the attraction is instant. Rush has secrets going back to when his mum died and the debt he owes to the man who saved him and no one knows why he is keeping quiet. Lennox just wants to help him and the mess just gets bigger. Great story telling. My only problem was why give a woman such an odd name....the author did it with the first book as well. Who calls a female Dekker??

From rags to riches at a price
This is Lennox and Rush’s story, and what a story. We’ve met the Kincaid clan before, and previous characters are mentioned in a cameo roll. Rush is a footballer fleeing England to LA, to escape unwanted publicity. Lennox is an agent fleeing to LA, as she is disappointed in her family and hurt by fellow agents slanders. Both Rush and Lennox are staying at a friends house unbeknownst to each other. What unfolds is a delightful story, full of forcefulness, uncertainty, trust issues and possible lies, but for a very good reason. Good deeds have been done in the past, but now they are being asked for pay back!!! At a cost that really is not acceptable. There is drama, deceit, desire and denial all wrapped up in a delightfully fulfilling book. The characters are so real, the description so convincing, the storyline so compelling that once started, totally difficult to put aside. A great story with in going books in this series, but each book reaches a satisfactory conclusion.

Didn’t want it to end!
You did it again Kristy, I couldn’t wait to start this book and then I didn’t want it to end. It was emotional, a great story and I loved it. The main characters are just as good as any from your other series. Thank you.
