Q: Some people are saying that this mat is not really 72 inches long. Can other customers confirm this?

It is not 72" Long...the one I got was 48" x 70"

These rubber mats offer enhanced traction, especially in wet/slippery conditions thanks to their natural rubber construction and oblong-nubbed surface. The rubber holds up well to the elements (rain/snow/UV rays from the sun) and can certainly be used outdoors. If the mat is not covered (under an awning/overhang) and it rains/snows, the mat will get wet and will have to air dry (though it does not absorb any liquids due to its rubber construction). If the mat is being used on a ramp, it should stay in place pretty well but, depending on the slope, it may need to be anchored in place, especially if wheelchairs are rolling across it.
