Leatherman Super Tool 300 Multi-Tool

I previously owned the Leatherman Wave model which was stolen from my jacket on a building site:( . The Super tool 300 has less tools(functions) and it is a bit more flimsy! Can't comment on the durability yet because only had it for a couple of days. Overall I'm happy - the usual high quality which you would expect from any Leatherman tool + 25 year warranty!!! I know I don't say much with this review but I had to respond to some people comments who compared this tool with cheap brand multi tools and said the quality is the same or even worse......this is ridiculous suggestion and makes me lough. It is like to compare Jaguar with Rover, yes they're both cars and will serve the purpose - to drive you from A to B, but the performance and the quality are different - hence the price! Same with multi tools and anything else really(with small exceptions) - you get what you pay for, in this case a really good tool!!!

I didn't like the look or feel of this at first as I have many of the high - end multitools that are available. Now I find myself using it most days. It is strong, convenient and has decent sized blades and tools. Very happy with this now. Feels better than the Leatherman waves now (old version and new version), which I used to use most frequently. Personally I preferred the old wave to the new one for looks and feel. Now, this is the multitool I most frequently grab.

This was an impulse buy simply because it was on sale! I already have a Leatherman Surge which is AMAZING, but nonetheless this is a great quality product because its a Leatherman.You don't need to be in a trade to own one of these, it can be used in and around the house for many a job.You may be contemplating spending this much money on a multi-tool, but this is a Leatherman, it is QUALITY.

Fantastic piece of equipment which no outdoor lover should be without. Bought as a gift and had it engraved. The receiver was blown away by the quality and functionality. It was a little stiff to open and unlock at first, but soon eased up. Very safe locking feature which adds to safety for the user. Each of the tools have come in handy and it is clearly built to last a lifetime. Can not fault the design or quality of this product.

I bought it about 4 years ago and it is still in perfect condition. I often saved me a trip to take the right tool from the toolbox (when the toolbox is far away from me and I am stuck on the bottom of a ship for example).I'd buy it again if I had to, but right now it still OK, there is just a bit of rust inside since I work on environments where there is a lot of salt, but some WD40 cleans it perfectly.
