I love this globe lamp. I've looked for one that would fit perfectly on my father's old lamp post which means a great deal to me and this one fit perfect. It lights up the whole front yard and stands out nicely in the landscape of our home.

Have a 12 ft high cast iron lamp post. Tree came down and broke the original glass street lamp globe. Searched locally for a replacement and then found one online Thru Amazon. One of the positives is used self drilling screws into the base of the new globe to keep it well secured. Can remove screws to replace bulb if necessary. Also replaced with daylight 1600 13 year clear bulb which really brightens the back deck where the lamp post is. Looks good. I did think since it is plastic was a little over-priced for a plastic globe but there weren't many choices that I saw.

Looks great, fit perfectly. Was a little taller than I thought, but looks awesome!

The 8" opening did not fit our lamp post. We used an electric sander to remove about a 1/4 inch from the bottom, it was still able to drop in the lamp post and accept set screws.

They were well desrcibed and very well packaged professional and perfect these wool meet and exceed expectations recommend to all serious buyer
