LOVE Ondaatje’s work in all of its forms. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

There are some truly beautiful poems in the Cinnamon Peeler, of which my favorite is “The Time Around Scars,” one of the weirdest love poems you’ll ever read. The rest covers topics as varied as family, childhood, friendship, dreams, and fantasy. Highly recommended!

Bought it as a gift for my Mum - it's a lovely and unique style of poetry.

Beautifully written poems by the author of The English Patient. I also recommend his fiction (especially Anil's Ghost).

Ondaatje is a masterful writer and this book of poems certainly proves that. The title piece is one of my favorite poems of all time.

Yawn. This collection is like one of those music albums you bought as a kid because you heard one good release on the radio. Thus, this gets two stars, instead of one.

Excellent book of poetry, but then you can’t go wrong with Michael Ondaatje

Lovely poetry. I think I prefer his prose but there are some great poems here.
