Best spider prevention product out there! Need to fix the sprayer
Our floating rental unit attracts an amazing amount of spiders. The coated wire dock rails are spider heaven. I have been using this spider spray for years. I spray the entire deck and dock every 2 weeks during the summer season. I reapply after heavy rains but it really last for weeks without rain. They need to fix the sprayer head. It is junk. Not only does it stop spraying after a few pumps, it leaks if the bottle gets turned over. I found one head that works and have been moving it from bottle to bottle.

Ok.
On a recent spider raid where a Brown Recluse had moved in under a front door awning where I leave the light on at night for burglary protection (but unfortunately attracts moths and other food sources ) I used a 91% isopropyl alcohol to spray the BR and it was STILL RUNNING. Although I was slightly in awe of this creature, & sure, covering me in 91% isopropyl would probably take me down, I thought, "Maybe I need a spider-specific poison." Enter, Harris Spider Killer. It's true, if you shoot them directly with this they still are able to run but 2 days later, I didn't see him/her. I cleared out the web and so far the prime awning spot has been spider-free. I gave this 4 stars because I did spray down all around the area with the Harris spray & I think it has killed off other potential food sources and seems to be somewhat preventative so I like it for that. But I'm not sure if or what killed the spider. I might reorder it again but when you're in the chase and really trying to kill a spider right then and there your shoe or something else you can whack with is the sure-fire method. Maybe this eventually kills them but I can't confirm that yet.

Chemical works well. Spray bottle not so much.
You have to read the label or you’ll be disappointed. This isn’t intended nor does it kill on contact. This stuff is meant to be sprayed and let dry. Then and only then does it create a spider barrier. And it works well at what it’s intended to do. I sprayed probably 4-6 months ago and not until yesterday did i see a single spider. However at that point yesterday i realized the spray bottle doesn’t work anymore. On the spray setting it’s like it’s on the off setting. The trigger won’t budge much and when it does very little liquid comes out. Had to transfer it into a winded bottle.

Seemed to work for me!
I sprayed this all over my porch siding and ceiling where the panels meet. I had just put a new floor on the porch and it was covered with spider droppings. I cleaned it up and sprayed. No droppings this morning and some dead spiders. I know they are good to have but they can live elsewhere. No smell either from the spray. I will come back in a week and review, see if it is still working. Still working 5 days later.

great for spiders - house and car!
I've had a problem with spiders camping behind my car's side view mirrors for a while now. Every morning I would find a web, take it down, and then find another one made the next morning. I couldn't figure out how to get the spider to leave the space behind my mirror until I found this. I sprayed it into the crevice between the mirror and the frame and have not seen a web ever since. Either the spider died or it left. Thank you! When I moved into my studio I noticed spiders were getting in through the window cracks. I sprayed this along the window frame on the outside and inside and have not seen a spider inside my studio ever since. I plan to spray the cracks between the floors and walls but I haven't seen any spiders in here since spraying the windows and door frame. Great product!
