All i can say is that as a nail tech, i find my clients leaning more towards the MEFA polishes. I have purchased many collections and not one has let me down. These colors are pigmented and can easily be layered for any effects. The matte top coat is amazing!! It stayed true matte for aboit a week before the shine started to return. The color swatch on the lids are very accurate. I am very pleased with this product and will definitely purchase more.

I was in a car accident and I broke my arm and this nail polish didn’t chip. I bought another gel set and that one takes forever to dry this one dries very fast. Very nice colors. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Review of C-Pinky Promise but really a review of MEFA in general.I noticed a lot of MEFA’s set listings look almost identical to Beetles so I thought it would be worth a try. For reference, I have over 80 Beetles colors and have done over 100 nail color swatches. The MEFA colors seemed more streaky and not as full coverage as Beetles. I did 2 coats on all the colors except the light grey and light pink - they definitely needed a 3rd coat because there was still really light see through spots. After finishing I noticed the directions say the colors all need 3 coats. 95% of the 80 Beetles colors I’ve tried need only 2 coats for full opaque coverage. So while MEFA is slightly cheaper than Beetles, you’re going to be using 50% more and run out quicker. The other bad thing is I spend a lot of time making sure each coat is exactly perfect and not touching my cuticles etc. That takes time. So now instead of doing 2 coats to perfection, I need to do 3 coats with MEFA and it also adds time to cure that extra coat.What I really didn’t like is these just don’t finish off smooth. Beetles colors seem to kind of self level if you give them a few seconds before curing. They usually come out completely opaque and smooth and no steaks. MEFA never did and you can see even with the darker colors the unevenness and inconsistency in the finished color. You can see what I’m talking about in the picture I attached. Yes, this looks different on a finger nail than with some light behind the color swatch but even on my nail, the unevenness in color was noticeable either on my finger nail or on the part of the nail that goes past my finger.The colors didn’t even really look like the colors on the listing. I know there will be variances in screens and in real life. But generally with polishes it’s close. I didn’t feel like these were close, even with a third coat the colors still didn’t seem as close to the screen color as other brands.I was initially excited that there was a QR code on each polish color for easy reordering. But when I started scanning the QR codes, each one said it couldn’t find any matching links. So that was completely pointless. For reference, the colors included in this set C-Pinky Promise are 303, 349, 350, 351, 352, 353.So while there’s a slight savings with MEFA, having used Beetles, it’s just not up to that standard and Beetles is definitely worth the couple bucks extra.

ok, so here is my honest opinion on this. I recently acquired a cheap UV light. So this is the first time I'm doing my nails at home with gel nail polish. I want to love these nail polishes especially because of the colors, and price. To be my first little trial kit was a good buy, but the only reason I will give it a low rating is because the nail polish cracks very easily. Now I'm no expert, and I have no idea if the lamp has anything to do with it. The nail polish doesn't chip away or peel off fast but it cracks. S by 3-5 days in I have "crackle" effect nail polish. Which at a distance no one can tell but I can. Just the other day I did my nails and by the next day, I had one corner already showing creases/crackle. I hadn't done anything but sleep and get ready to go out so, is not like I'm doing hard activities that would explain the crackling.

A nice mix of fun summery colors with some more muted colors mixed in. Gel polish doesn't seem to last very long on my soft nails but if I apply this just right, I can probably push it to a week and a half or maybe two weeks with no significant peeling. I'm sure it would last even longer on someone with stronger nails. Here's what I do:- push back cuticles- file nails to desired shape and buff horizontallyApply- 2 base coats- 3 color coats- 2 top coatsTip: make sure you seal every layer at the free edge of the nail to prevent chipping

Let me just start off by saying I have professional experience as a nail technician. I almost always end up with great product for great deals. For 1 delivery was delayed. For 2 the shades indicated on the bottle not accurate, ended up with two of the same shade. And for 3, the most annoying, after the correct preparation, application process and correct uv curring instantly had areas of bubbling and peeling. Maybe I got a bad batch or it's truly poor quality, but I didn't enjoy having to remove what did stay on and start all over again (definitely with a better quality product I already had on hand).

Another great product! These summer colors are absolutely beautiful. I love the colorful packaging. The bottles came clean without gel polish everywhere. Very easy to apply. Very pigmented. Some dont even need 2 coats. The base, top and matte top coat all go on very well.

Omg I love these colors I am totally buying more colors from mefa. I also enjoy the decals wish they came with all the gel polish sets but still for the price they are almost entirely full bottles which I thought they were supposed to be full unlike other brands. Other than that my nails are adorbs.
