This thing moves air. Period. It’s not silent. But the sound is comforting. The #1 setting is stronger and more powerful than any of the “Dreo” fans you’ll find here. Crank it to #3 and you have a full blown jet turbine running in your living room, in the greatest way imaginable. Yeah, the assembly and documentation sucks, per other reviewers, but it’s straightforward nonetheless. Just remember the last little screw attached to the instruction manual. I live in a small apartment and I’ve had many fans that are touted on Amazon as good living room fans. None of them have ever come close to my basic standard of wanting significant air flow. This fan however blows wind so hard it almost throws itself backward. I put it blowing out the window and it clears my kitchen instantly when the wife is cooking some gnarly chili or fish sauce or shrimp paste. High quality build and solid materials. Buy this fan if you’re looking for something that actually pumps hard and moves air.

I wanted a sturdy fan to replace an 18" Lasko fan for my bedroom that is almost all plastic and only lasted like 2 years. Looking at this on Amazon it seemed like a good one. Metal blade, metal fan grilles, even the base is a piece of stamped metal. It has only a few plastic parts. It was easy to assemble. Some odd things about it are to switch to choose oscillate or not is a rocker switch. The fan's main control and speed switch starts with off then low, most fans the first speed is high. Now how it works. In 2 months of use we are happy with it. It's not whisper quiet even on low it makes a little white noise but I feel like thats a positive thing for me. We Don't have central AC so the fan is used to move air making the window AC more efficient and effective. The fan really moves a lot of air. I find low is the most used speed for sleeping and generating overall air movement. I do use medium to push cool air to an agacient room faster but only tried high one time. On high the fan nearly blows the curtains off, like there's a hurricane in your room. This is no whimpy fan for sure.

WOW!! I love this. I’m in menopause and the hot flashes at night are miserable. We had a different fan that I kept on my side of the bed and I couldn’t stay cool. Since I have had this I sleep through the night and actually get cold. (Not in a bad way) It is AMAZING!!! I sleep under a sheet and light quilt. Someone’s review said it was great and I am glad I trusted their opinion. I love this so much. There is some noise but nothing bothersome that keeps you from sleeping. This fan was well worth the money I would purchase it again and I will recommend it to anyone that says they are looking for a fan. I hope it lasts a long time. The quality of the material seems great and sturdy. There is a on/off switch for oscillating if you want to use that feature. It took my husband just a few minutes to put together. I have shown it to a couple other people and their response was Man that’s a fan and That feels good I love it. I have contemplated on buying one for the back porch also as I sit outside a lot. Perfect fan !!

Decent built fan. Most people would probably consider it loud, but it's perfect for sleeping at night. We like the noise.

One word awesome 👏🏾 no more hot nights this blows air really good even on low., I put it on high because of my oxygen concentrator which gives off so much heat I can’t sleep sometimes unless I just try to ignore because I am so sleepy and my ceiling fan is trying .But with this fan and my ceiling fan my room is 10 times cooler Thanks Amazon and for BILT Hard

Works fine, ok air, I feel less air then described. Biggest complaint is cheap materials, so it makes noise because things dont snap and stay as well as they should.
