Well made and ultra durable. They fixed a design flaw from the original product so the blades don’t get stuck in the scraper. I have an aquarium service business so I use these a lot and they rly hold up well. The acrylic blade is perfect but the stainless blade is a touch flimsy but the scraper itself is great.

This plastic scraper made short work of the algae covered front of my 100 gallon acrylic aquarium. I had let it go, and the Aqueon magnetic cleaner couldn't get it off, though it works great if you use it regularly. My algae was tough, and I needed the strength of the 24" model to apply enough pressure for it to work. It did not scratch the plastic at all, and all the built up green algae came off with about 5 minutes of work.I HIGHLY recommend this tool for acrylic aquariums!

The back wall of my all-in-one reef aquarium is acrylic, so I bought this to scrape it when necessary. It is sturdy and well-made, and it does a fairly decent job. Nothing, of course, beats a sharp metal blade, but you can't use that on acrylic without doing a lot of damage, so this is what we need. The handle is sturdy enough so that it doesn't bend while you're using it, and the plastic "blade" seems to have enough of an edge for being plastic. I think that something like this should cost around $10, so that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

The rubber is too stiff. Not pliable enough when holding against the aquarium glass to remove the built up algae.

This thing is more sturdy and fits the Kent Marine Pro-Scraper inserts. I had the Kent Marine and it broke, but now is unavailable. I got this and it is way better and will use the replacement blades I have.

Saves a lot of time cleaning the fish tank.

Its a cheap gimmick. It doesn't even scrape even against the glass. You're better off just using a credit card its the best scraper Ive found things like this never seem to work well.

So much better than the scrubby pads! We have been dealing with some hair algae in our tank and this cleans it so perfectly! So glad we bought it!
