Bought this product Sept of 2020 and me and my wife loved how it looked. Product is very bright and lasts through most of the night in the summer if exposed to direct sunlight during daylight hours. If you live in a mostly cloudy region, or place this in an area that gets a lot of shade, the time it lasts will probably not be as good for you. Placement is important. The lights are bright, the chimes look nice and put off an even glow. Absolutely loved them before we had problems...After about 7-8 months of use, one of the colors started to fail(the blue led would either not come on or would flicker on the top chime, and any colors that combined with blue did the same). I contacted the vendor via email about the issue and they asked for video or image along with explanation of the issue and they offered a partial refund based on the percentage of time the chime lasted through the 1 year warranty. I advised I was not happy with this solution and the vendor asked me what they could do to make it right. I expressed that I wanted a product that was working at the end of the 1 year warranty without spending extra money, so they offered to send a replacement at no charge. They let me know the product would be there within one week and the replacement arrived only 2 days later. I was very satisfied with the professional manner they handled my issue, how willing they were to work with me, and how well they did at listening to me to ensure I was happy with the resolution offered. Even if the replacement fails after another 8 months, I would still gladly buy another. For the low price and great customer service I received, this is well worth it in my opinion. Ideally the product would last well beyond the one year warranty, but considering the very low cost of this item, how well it works, how great it looks, and the level of customer service I received, I believe this is worth every penny. Even if the original only lasted 12 months and a day, I would still buy another at this price point!I left the original product(not working properly) hanging alongside the replacement as a sort of experiment to see how long it would last before completely failing. After about a month and a half now the original has lost all blue led functionality in the top chime(leaving only colors that can be made with red and green), all of the remaining chimes flicker about every 3 minutes and are also seeing some blue flickering effect like the top originally had when the issue started. I am seeing that the solar sensor on top of the chime is quite foggy and I suspect the issue on the original chimes likely occurred as a result of a leak around the glass covering the solar panel that has begun to corrode internally. At this point I am thinking that putting a thin layer of caulk or silicone around the edges of the solar panel plastic cover would protect the chimes from seeing this issue at all(just be sure not to cover the surface area on the actual panel, as this would reduce the light getting into the solar panels to charge the unit). I'm not sure if the leak was a one off defect, or if all of them may suffer from this issue, but we do get quite a bit of rain here in the spring and summer months. I am not going to put caulk on this replacement set of chimes and I will update my review if I start seeing the same issue on the replacement.Like I said, at this price point, I would STILL recommend this product with no hesitation. After I finish my experiment with the original and replacement chimes, if the replacement fails from the same issue, I will update my review and will still plan on buying another set of these. If I buy another, I will definitely be using a thin bead of caulk on my next purchased set to protect from any water getting in as an extra precaution.***final update 20 July 2023***The original chime had only one bird working after 2 years, with only 1 color still working. Battery life was low but still turned on for about an hour. The replacement chimes only have 3 birds still lighting up(two of them working fully, one with only red working). Battery life is still decent and the replacement chime did not have the delaminating/fogging/cracking issue the original one had. 3 of the birds broke from their solder points, but we get quite a bit of wind here and I ever brought them in for bad weather and only pulled them down for hurricane or tornado conditions. Still very pleased and I'm about to click "buy" on another set to replace the newest one that I probably should have replaced months ago.

Bought the first one and one of the birds didn't work right out of the box. But, the other five looked great and really added something to my newly renovated garden, particularly at night. Also one of the longest lasting solar powered lights we have, and we have lots.So, couple months go by and I decide to buy one to give to my sister for her garden. When that one arrived I checked it out to be sure all birds would light up and they did... Right out of the box. Well after hanging her's up to fully charge, that night I got to see the difference between a fully functional one and my suddenly lacking specimen. Wasn't relishing the whole return and exchange experience, so I opted to simply buy myself another one. Between the time I gave my sister her birds (that's her's in the pic) and the arrival of my new one, sis suggested I at least let the seller know there was a problem with my first one. I dropped them a note and they got back to me within hours asking what I'd like to do to remedy the situation. I suggested a prepaid return receipt and I'd ship the bad one back in the box my new one would arrive in. They got right back to me again and said they were sending a replacement set out right away and, to prevent any further inconvenience, I could keep the defective one.So, I'll have 3. And yeah, I do like them that much.That was my experience. I'm more than satisfied.

This is a lovely solar light and lights up in different colors. It’s simple and puts out the light. The price is reasonable too!

These are so cute. Unfortunately the tiniest bit of light from even an indoor lamp that shines out to my patio stops the colors from lighting up. Which kind of saddens me but they are still very cute.

Well worth the money. The light is very bright and nice colors.

This was a Christmas gift for an avid gardener, and she greatly enjoys it. She reports that the glass hummingbirds are sparkly and quite detailed in the daytime hours, and that at night the changing LED colors are attractive and pleasant to watch.It is winter here and the garden is largely shaded, but the solar cell has surprisingly charged well despite the cloudy weather. The mobile/chimes have also already survived rain and high wind. I examined the wires from the top of solar cell charger to the individual hummingbirds, and they are all carefully weatherproofed - this product is manufactured with quality and it exceeds my expectations.Tips: make sure to turn the power switch to "on"; the mobile ships with it in the "off" position. The instructions do not mention the switch, and it is located on the underside of the disc that holds the solar cells.

Arrived with 3 wings broke off. I was out of town and bought it as a last minute gift.It is very pretty, but cheaply made and fragile. I was embarrassed when my sister opened the box and 3 birds had wings missing. The wings were in the box and all of the wind chimes were knotted up. It wasn’t packaged very well to say the least b

Hummingbirds are a favourite bird of mine and I especially love this chime. I’ve given it as a gift to two other hummingbird-lovers and they too love it. My first one just recently gave up the ghost after several years of taking abuse from squirrels and being repaired so I finally decided to replace it. I have become quite a fan of solar powered birds, butterflies, and insects. The6 are such a wonderful addition to my home.

This is a great gift or to own it.It charges during the day and lights up automatically at dusk.The hummingbirds change colours every few seconds.The battery charged best in sunny days so need to make sure to set it up in a place where it will have plenty sunlight.
