Excellent bongos!
These Matador Custom Bongos are by far the best around. There are many other more expensive models but these Matador Custom's are the original Cuban style bongo's. The sound they produce is a rich, warm authentic sound from the islands. Being of Cuban and Puerto Rican decent I remember my grandfather playing his bongos and they sounded the way the Matador sounds, not those overpriced models made of exotic woods. The price and value are outstanding. Take it from a guy who's been playing bongo's for over 50 years.

Groovy baby.
I just started playing bongos and these are my first so take my review as from a novice without a lot of experience but they came in perfect condition, I tuned them up, started using them, have no complaints, seem well constructed, good company, mid-range priced, and look cool. What's not to like? They nicely match the paint job on my strat too.

These are not only easy on the eyes, but they have a crisp professional sound
The Matador Custom Bongos have been a pleasure to play since they arrived in the mail. They are reasonably priced and are an easy, comfortable, fit between my legs. Congas are my primary drum, so I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for Bongos. I was delighted to find these drums priced to sell, yet deliver with a great sound and typical L.P. sturdy construction. I recommend these, well put together, Bongos to anyone looking for a good deal without compromising on quality.

A P65 warning sticker is on the tag
I disliked the fact that there was Not a closeup shot of the tag shown in the photos. It came in a clear plastic bag in a box and it look like it might had been a return There is no brand name on the plastic bag.
