I needed this to attach a monitor pole to a desk that has two metal back rails below the surface of the desk. A standard clamp would not really grasp it securely enough since it only attached to one rail and it was kind of a narrow rail. The clamp was plenty big enough to span both the rails and provide a firm stable surface so my monitor could do its job!

Super easy to install after applying the protection pads. Works well with a clamp to protect my glass top desk from Costco. Since the bottom of the desk is not solid I braced the bottom panel across the supporting beam and the edge.

This product saves my table. With a plastic desk and a monitor on an arm, it was warping the table. This product solved that problem and even allowed the table to return to its normal shape.

These are well made, but ultimately, you probably don't need this unless you have a glass desk... (or other fragile surface)I got these for a wood laminate desk because I was worried, but ultimately decided to remove the top plate (kept the bottom) because it's too massive.I think they should try to make a version that's maybe 50-75% of the size, since I suspect that might be a better balance, but ultimately - most people probably don't need these unless your desk is fragile.

The media could not be loaded. Helps to stabilize and protect my desk from mounting my laptop and monitor.Highly recommend!!

This is attached to a dual arm mount with two dell 32" monitors. It was too much for my old mount, but this one has not problems.

Works well as a protector for glass top.

but otherwise, great product.
