tempered glass
I like that this one is tempered glass. Our other one must not have been because it shattered like an egg, when I was cleaning it one day. We use it in the bathroom.

I love this piece. Obviously it’s made of glass so if sturdiness and durability is what you’re looking for? Forget it. If you keep it on your table you shouldn’t have a problem but i guarantee this thing will shatter if you accidentally knock it over. It’s not made of thick glass. Other than being gentle when handling, i love having this because the cup keeps dust out and i can have a drink in the middle of the night without having to get out of bed. Super convenient!

Small sips of water
It’s tiny. Like a small glass of water tiny. Buy something larger if this is for an invalid. It’s plain and utilitarian looking, fine for a single nighttime glass of water, things like a bedtime prescription. I bought it mostly for the small price after a pretty large one got broken. It seems sturdy and useful.

Late night hydration
This is sooo cute and it saves space on your bedside table for what ever else is needed. I find myself using this every now and then so no need to get up and go to the kitchen for those late night dry throat

Nice look at bedside
THis is a nice size (a bit smaller than some). It's the weight of a nicer, thinner glass. I like it but it could be vulnerable if knocked over. It was just what I was looking for and at a great price

Not borosilicate glass
Functional, but delicate. Not borosilicate glass. I put some ice into it and it immediately shattered from thermal shock. Things being marketed as borosilicate glass was the primary reason for purchase. If you only plan to use room temperature liquids in this, it'll probably be fine.
