UPDATE: So company apologized for faulty one, sent me a new one and HOLY COW this does work amazing so much quieter than the first one! If I didn't see the bubbles I wouldn't know it is on! So I have to say now that I must have gotten a dud the first time because it was never this smooth or quite. Also customer service is wonderful. Company that stands behind there stuff! Can't beat that! So I would have to say now that I would recommend this even if you get a faulty one they will set it right. Now running three filters (Two 20gal and a 10gal) and an air stone, may even be able to add two more air stones like I want with this flow. So this worked pretty good, not really quite unless on the med to low setting, to power a few (two 10 gal and one 20 gal) sponge filters for two months. Although about a week ago in the middle of the night we were awoken by an extremely loud buzz (almost mini chainsaw loud) now I have to combine all four lines just to run one filter.

This air pump is so nice and quiet. It seems to have lots of power and when I hook up all 4 together, it is holding good power and seems to be evenly distributing air to all four places. I would recommend this air pump to anyone who needs more than one t the same time. I have used only one time, during the time I was hatching brine shrimp, so don’t know how long it will work, but hoping it will continue to work this quietly.

Overall this is a great product and I may use it on something different in the future. The directions were clear, set up was easy and the noise wasn’t bad (it is sitting on a padded surface so that probably dampened the noise). There were some kinks in the tubing that eventually worked themselves out. The only problem was the GPH wasn’t powerful enough for my hydroponic use. That is my miscalculation. I had hoped to aerate four DWC buckets with the one pump. I tried larger air stones but still didn’t generate sufficient bubbles to adequately aerate the water. I did try a more powerful pump that seems to adequately aerate four buckets and I will be purchasing more. I am using this pump temporarily but use all four lines in one bucket.

Easily the most quiet air pump I've used. Currently using it to keep some phyto and copepod containers going but will certainly come back to this one if I need more pumps in the future. The tubing, air stones, and check valves it came with were a welcome bonus. The other valves it came with don't let you fine tune the air flow, just shut it off, but still a welcome addition when I need to do maintenance on one line and let the others stay on.

The unit does perform very well and so far, I have not had any water back-feeds to check out the values because of the loop in the hose I have at the top of the tank.The unit is louder than I would have liked, but I can turn down the regulator for the air on the unit to quiet things down. However, I like water movement within the tank so that my fish stay more active moving around and there is no doubt that there is plenty of oxygen in the water.

It’s a nice unit, feels like high quality, extras are high quality(hoses, check valve). The noise at half is ok, noise at full is unbearable loud. Full throttle is very weak for an air pump. I have 4 stones running and the bubbles barely come out. I’ve swapped hoses, check valves, removed restrictor…it’s a very weak pump. I have some $5 pumps that are more powerful. Of course the $5 pumps are junk and loud and not as high quality.

Would have been great if it works but it stopped working on me at the beginning of August. Owned it for less than four months. Attempted to call Amazon to no avail. If you buy this good luck 🫡Edit: after some troubleshooting I determined that my setup had caused problems for the pump. After resetting it works properly. Customer service was prompt to respond to this review which is nice to see

I liked that it puts out a lot of bubbles, has an adjustable dial, and has 4 outlets but it’s gotten progressively louder as time has gone by and gets very hot now after 8 months of use. It also seems to vibrate VERY hard. If it wasn’t getting so hot already we could put it on some kind of cushion but I worry this will compound the overheating motor issue and further reduce its longevity.I hoped to reach out to the seller to trouble shoot but haven’t found where to do so. Likely will not repurchase since we didn’t get a full year of use before it began having significant problems.
