Read it read it read it read it
I first found this book wedged in a cup holder on my church's van when returning from camp. How it got there remains a mystery, but I felt like this book had magically appeared just for me. The stories truly made me feel as though I'd been pulled into a parallel universe. One of the stories about getting halfway to wherever you go scored me some nerd cred with my senior math teacher nearly seven years later. I also remembered the greedy story of the necklace when reading Guy Maupassant years later. I'm now a teacher, and I've recommended this book to so many students. Don't let the silly cover art fool you. These stories are incredibly stimulating.

Great to read to kids
Bought this book to have stories to read to the youngsters when sitting around the campfire at a remote cabin we own back in the woods. The kids enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend it for that.

Pretty Good
Really good. Not as good as Invasion of the Road Weenies, but pretty good as a collection itself. The titular story, Curse of the Campfire Weenies, is one of the weaker ones in the collection, but overall there are a good amount of good stories.

.
These were a little to scary for my 9 year old. He likes to listen to them before bed, and this one he just didn't want me to play for him. I did give it a four star though, because I do think it was a good book, but maybe just for an older boy/girl?

Twilight Zone crosses Stephen King for kids
This whole series is amazing. As mentioned in my title, it is a cross between Twilight Zone and Stephen King for kids. Definitely read it before letting your kids read it so you can decide if it will keep your kids up at night. They're great short stories for adults.

Book for My Grandson. Amazon's Great Books for Kids
I will admit I have not read this book. It was purchased for my grandson. He loved it and found it quite funny so, if you have any 11-12 year old grandchildren or children you might give this book a try.
